UGH! so I moved in back in October. The staff is really nice, the apartment however is..eh. The ac unit in the living room sucks and the bedroom is ALWAYS hot. When we moved in I explained my concerns about heat as I over heat and it has caused me to go to the hospital on multiple occasions. I was assured that there had never been complaints about it and that where my apartment is it wouldn't get hit by direct sunlight so it shouldn't have been a problem. WRONG. The sun hits this place hard, the only fan is in the same are as the ac and there is no cool air moving to the back of the place. Also I came here expecting a nice place like in the pictures online or the upgraded show apartment that we toured but no. I got an older one as I'm sure many people have. Don't get me wrong, they let us know and showed it to us before hand, but when youre desperate for a place to live and the more comfortable apartment is extra, youre gonna take what you can get. Its not horrible its just an annoying space. Everywhere I walk in the apt feels like the floor is weak and its loud. So I suppose if it were cheaper it'd be a good first apartment, but for this price I expect something updated and relatively comfortable. Also during the winter I cannot tell you how frustrating it is when you cant regulate your own heat! One day it was 40 in my apt and the next it was 80. Seriously? keep it at 65 people. if someone gets cold tell them to put on a sweater. I moved here to get away from a living situation that was causing my husband and I to lose so much sleep I was getting sick and he was missing work....Now that its like 90 in our bedroom at night were going through the same thing.... Now I will say that there are a few good things about this place. I like the location however for the same price you can get more at Seneca or pine forest. The staff is really nice and they do their best so if you're frustrated like me don't take it out on them...unless its something they're directly responsible for they cant do to much. I do like that I can paint, which is something you don't usually get in basic apartment complexes. Though expensive, the washer/dryer units are right next to my place on the same floor which is awesome for me as walking up and down stairs is difficult. If the place was updated and had central air it would be much more worth the price.

Begin list of complaints... - Cannot control heater / Too much heat during winter. Even during very cold days my windows were open to let the heat out. - Air flow is horrid, single AC unit in Living room area does NOT cover bed rooms. You will need two box fans to cycle air throughout apartment. - Repair requests are not communicated in a timely fashion, not fixed / band aid type repairs, left to tenant to deal with issues more often than not. However, maintenance man is very polite. - Washer and Dryer never function 100%, 3rd party provider, repair and resolution cycle left to residents. Office assumes 0 responsibility for washer/dryer - Cheap Blinds / break easily. Expect to replace them all before you leave - Snow / Ice Removal does not exist in parking lots during winter, what little snow removal they contract is not enough. Expect to lose parking spots and to not see them return until spring... whenever that happens. See next comments as to why this issue becomes even more bad. - Resident parking is atrocious especially on weekends since it is public parking. Expect to park in a different lot than your own at least a dozen times. Especially if you do not get home until after 11PM. - Also note; residents will "create" parking spots in areas where there should not be spots. This will introduce new navigation issues for people with larger vehicles. Expect no results when reporting the issue. - For the "Upgraded Kitchen and Vanity" price of $100 is NOT worth it. There is no benefit other than it is more pleasing on the eyes. Save $1200/yr. by not upgrading. - The second bedroom in the two bedroom is more like an over sized closet. Turn this into an office for best results. - Do not expect hot water at odd hours of the day or late morning. If your building is full of residents with more that 2 people on average per unit, there may not be water for you. - Also do not be surprised to smell illegal or recreational drugs from your neighbors. So before someone counters my laundry list, let me start by saying I am leaving here after 1 year of residency. My neighbors in my building are all nice people when interacting with them face to face, and I cannot confirm specific individuals as perpetrators in my complaints against neighbors. I will not lower myself to poking my nose into other peoples personal lives. My complaints about other people are pure observations and experiences. The office is generally nice to you and will listen to your complaints or concerns. expect no results or communication as to what they have done to try to resolve the issue. Expect an answer such as "We haven't heard of that before.". No one else may have complained, but it is skeptical. That is unless everyone else that lives here is blind and lives under rocks. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you need a cheap apartment and cannot afford much and are willing to live with the above list of complaints... $570 /month for the basic model is not a bad deal. If you can afford an apartment at $670 a month, DO NOT LIVE HERE AND DO NOT GET THE UPGRADED MODELS! I had three weeks to move out of my previous place due to a roommate issue and hurried into this place. I cannot wait to hurry out. Had I had more time to make my move, I would've passed on Weeping Cherry Village.

They towed my car.... and I have to pay for it.... ok it had been sitting there for a while as I was trying to sell it and was not driving it at the time, but still I should be able to park my own car at the apartment I am living at! WOW! Talk about great service!

I don't feel safe here because there's no controlled entry into buildings. The woman that works at the office is rude, they don't plow the parking lots in a timely manner, and the parking itself is terrible. If you get home past 7pm you have to park a mile from your building. There's always random broken furniture just sitting out in the parking lot making the place look even junkier. The only positive is that the maintenance man is very quick to respond to problems.
