I really have had a great experience with CCN. I have lived there for three years and have had no problems. They try their best to accommodate all their tenants and the apartments are great for the price!! Staff is friendly and if you have any issues they try their best to accommodate what you need.
Staff if really nice but, like most places in Pullman, it is waaay overpriced and full of tenants who let their dogs bark incessantly, take their dogs to the pool and let them run loose, play their music loud enough to be heard a block away etc. Great if you are still in high school (or of that mentality), hard if you want to study or just enjoy your own space. Super nice amenities, short hours for access. The pay online feature is a screwy.
I don't know what everybody's problem is with CCN. I think its a great place to live. I've not had a problem yet. The repair guys come the next day or even the day of..even for very small maintenance things. I don't really use any of the other stuff they offer except the movie rentals, so I can't comment much on that. The location is really convenient, you can either walk or take the bus to school. Anyway, I've always payed my rent on time so I don't know what they do about that...Overall, my experience has been really positive and can't say I have any complaints! An
Pet friendly, check. Cheap prices, check, Quality apartment, check. Staff who does their work, no check. I have had so many problems with the staff never doing their job and when they do it, they do it incorrectly. Currently, I am supposed to move in tomorrow. However, because they made a mistake on the lease, and realized it after we all went home for the summer (for the 4 of us that is 2-7 hours away from pullman) and were not able to come and resign the page with the mistake. After several weeks of nagging and trying to find a solution they said they will email us the page, one of us would print it out, sign it, scan it, and email it to the next person and so on. Although this is a hassle, it is not that big of a deal. The big deal is the fact that I am supposed to move in tomorrow and not a single one of us has received any email whatsoever from the office. This isn't the first time I've had problems with them (and I am feeling like a fool for living there again). My boyfriend and his friends are moving in but only after having to give their previous landlord's number to the office FIVE times, if not more. They constantly called him over the summer saying they lost it, again. The worst mistake of them all was then they lost my money order. It was literally the one time I didn't have my receipt so the girl said there was absolutely nothing they could do. After calling the bank and being told the same by them I came into the office once more, in tears, swearing up and down that I turned it in and reciting the exact actions I took that day to turn them in. Including bringing my roommate's personal check in (which they got), and filling out the money order on the desk, the day and time I turned them in, etc. Still, nothing they could do and I needed to turn in rent plus a $75 late fee. The third time I arrived I came with my boyfriend, they were rude to us and finally the assistant manager came out, asked what day and about the time I turned it in, explaining they photo copied everything that gets turned in. Ten minutes later they found a photo copy of my money order and said the employee put the wrong resident ID number on it so the money wet to another person's account. All they could say was "our bad" (literally), and offered nothing. I understand that mistakes happen, we're humans, but the fact that the assistant manager found my money order in ten minutes and the woman I dealt with the first two times couldn't get her butt up off her chair to do the same really upsets me. I was in tears swearing to her I paid it and her customer service was "we cant do anything" Don't ever rent there, it is very cheap but not at all worth it.
Living here is the BIGGEST regret of my life. I live in a 4 bedroom and there was mold in my bathroom when we moved in in JUNE and they didn't "fix" it until MID SEPTEMBER after I was living there. That meant 4 of us had to share one bathroom until the staff decided to get around to us. Then, they "fixed" it by painting over it. Now it's beginning to reappear. My kitchen flooded, and they took 2 weeks to come in and fix that. If you don't cook, then the painfully small kitchen won't be a problem, but if you want to cook or have food, you better have some sort of extra storage. A 4 bedroom is not fit for 4 people to live in. Plus, parking is never enforced so it's impossible to find a place to park. The staff is nice, but absolutely worthless when you want something done. I wouldn't recommend campus commons to my worst enemy.
