I was a student teacher from ASU that was denyed being able to stay in the free provided housing for the other Davie County student teachers. I scurried to quickly find a cheap apartment near the school, and where I could have my cat. Northwood was one of the first that I found while doing an online search. After emailing back and forth with the property manager for about a week or so, I made the trip to Mocksville to check them out. Northwood has been an amazing home for me these past 6 months. I lived in one of the effeciency apartments with my cat, and while the rent was a little bit more pricy than I would have liked to have paid for an apartment where my bed was in the living room, it was an overall pleasant experience. I only had one or two problems with neighbors being too loud (mostly arguing) but that was the only problem I really encountered. If you need a decent place to stay in Mocksville, long term or short, I would definitely look into Northwood!
