Our family has lived here for 5 years and enjoy all that it has to offer. Our living space and yard is very spacious and our neighbors are wonderful. We have a beach close by, an elementary school on property (And they have wonderful teachers there as well), a store with a gas station if you're military, we have community family movie nights, Wednesday farmers market, a gym, a dog park............what else could I possibly say!! We love it here!! Like any place you live, you'll have issues........my experience with my resident manager (Derik) and the front office ladies have been nothing but helpful and the maintenance team is on point.....Hope you decide to be my neighbor!!

I’m pretty sure I had sticker shock when I saw the rent amount, coming from south Mississippi to Hawaii I expected it, but paying 2.5x more for the same size house I used to have. For the size of the houses, compared to other places on the island, you’re getting a deal. Hmm, 600sq ft for $1900 or 1200sq ft for $2000…you tell me. We enjoyed the open floor plan for the front foyer, living room, and dining room area; makes the place feel a little bigger than it already is. If you don’t have an AC unit for your home, you’d better pray that there are trade winds! Since HI really only sees 1 ½ seasons, early summer and summer, it tends to stay toasty without AC even at night. My initial review, was a bit impulsive, it hadn’t been the best week and a phone call from the front office burnt the last of the "fuse". The issues I did have while living at TWAP, were ultimately outside of the control of TWAP staff. Words of advice for others; make sure your payment methods are set and work the first time around, if not, you could be in for a surprise. If you have kids or pets, I’d recommend not letting them play near the road; there are folks that visit and live in the community that have no regard for the posted speed limit. I could have been “that guy” and given the long list of license plate numbers I have to the office, but something tells me they (the drivers) would just shrug it off.

Waterfront at Pu'uloa is a great neighborhood to live in. I have been her 6 months and I have been satisfied with the leasing office, resident office, and maintenance office. They are all prompt at making sure your request and concerns are met if they know about them. Not to mention the girls at the front desk are very welcoming and love to be here to me that makes the stay worth my while because I know I am in good hands!

We love this place for what it has to offer but really have a tough time swallowing the repeated Lies and shady behavior by some of the management. If only everything could be run by the maintenance department and not the condescending main office it would be perfect. If you are considering moving here, don't. If you still want to try your luck here, consider this, the rent and utilities are skyrocketing because of a bad deal between nafac and the way things were billed for the past four years. Carmel is forced to raise the rent to pay for it. The office staff will lie to your face about this situation but it is public record, look it up.

Me and my family are long time residents of the Waterfront and we love it. The community has so much to offer its residents including fitness programs, open markets, movie/concerts on the beach and crafting classes. Waterfront Management/Staff have been nothing but professional in my dealings with them and it seems their always trying to find ways to better the community for the residents. I've met so many great people while living at the Waterfront and love the small town feel. I've always felt very comfortable leaving my kids walk/bike to their friends house on property. If your planning on moving to the island and your looking for a place to stay or if your already living on the island and looking for a change of scenery I highly recommend you consider the Waterfront at Puuloa.
