If you come here for the low rent, I want you think about what you're possibly getting for the price. If you are someone who needs peace when you study, I wouldn't take a wild card on this one. The walls are thin, thin, thin. If you get a flat and happen to have very noisy neighbors above you, you WILL hear everything. Also I suggest that you have people in mind to come share a space with. They have a roommate matching system and it is a complete joke. For example if you request a clean roommate, it's unlikely that you'll get one. I'm pretty certain they match roommates up by their birthdays, which is idiotic. I've had to move to two different spots within the complex with different roommates and I've noticed that the only things that me and my roommates had in common was our birthdays. Also the dishwashers really suck, they never get anything clean, so be prepared to hand wash your dishes. They upgraded the washing machines, which is great, but not the dryers which you have to run your clothes through twice in order to get them dry. The kitchen space is very limited. So if you're a foodie like me, get a two bedroom or buy extra DIY cabinets like I did. The staff however is very friendly.

Run do not rent from this place. They lie to you tell you so many things that aren't true. Took them 5 months to fix my bathroom.

basically like Joshua state previously, they charge you any and everything once you move out, so make sure while you're having a blast, that you leave everything just as you found it ( they will still charge you for new carpets even if not needed... the managment just sucks.

I was a bit apprehensive when reading the previous reviews before I moved in to Polo Club. Bugs, loud neighbors, and cockroaches galore were the usual complaints. I figured after living in this community for nearly a year now, I should submit my own experience with Polo Club. I think the previous reviewers lived here under a previous management because the staff here is extremely nice and approachable. I never felt like I was being neglected or ignored when I had a problem or concern. At different times throughout the year the staff puts on various social activities which include food and drink. You really cannot beat the price at Polo Club for the amenities that you get. They have basketball courts, tennis courts, swimming pool (always clean), two pool tables, big screen tv, and work out facility. I have used all of these save the pool and have been more than happy with them. Now, if you are some glamorous, rich, snooty person this might not be the place for you, but if you are tight on money (as most college students are) Polo Club is an excellent option. Plus, it is in the perfect location; in walking distance to Kroger and a very short drive to UGA (less than 4 min) I hope this review sheds some new light on what I think is the best bang for the buck in Athens, GA. -Kosarz

I as a parent would not allow my child to lease from polo club. The administration looks for anything to fine you on so they can collect money....they say everyone is treated the same, but don't believe them. Get a written statement from them when checking out if they state you don't owe money, because most like you WILL owe money later. I suggest you find another place to live that is actually reputable...it is worth the extra money!!!!
