Thank you very much for taking care of the dishwasher problem by replacing the awful smelling dishwasher with a new one. I appreciate that very much and am glad to be able to use my kitchen without having to put something over my nose. Thank you for sending an outstanding maintenance person, who is not only an excellent plumber, but an excellent “handyman”. My kitchen sink faucet has been leaking for months, but I did not want to complaint about it. He noted it and took care of it. To say the least he was very knowledgeable, friendly, highly communicative, EFFICIENT, and put the customer back into customer service. He is an excellent customer friendly individual. We need at least a million more people like him in the world. This is the type of person that I would want to manage my team. I turned on the AC for him to cool down and he noted that it was blowing “HOT air”, literally. He contacted management, consulted with them and I hope that this will also be taken care of soon. The problem he came to take care of has been solved; other problems noted in the apartment were also resolved. This is absolutely amazing! The overall experience with your maintenance person was EXCELLENT! If asked, how likely would I be to recommend Boston City Realty (CRM Property Management) to someone else, I would say “very likely”. Because even if it takes some time for your team to get to resolve a problem, when you do get to it, it is undoubtedly taken care of within one day. That is very efficient for a company who has over 100 buildings to deal with. I sincerely appreciate your assistance. Again, thank you for your attention to the current issues, and thank you Mr. Luis M.

I really wanted to like City Realty Group in the beginning because I thought the unit we rented would be perfect... but as a person that comes from a family with a long history of owning rental property, the violations and mismanagement of City Realty cannot be denied. Our "luxury unit" became a nightmare the day we moved in. The following is a list that we experienced: - Upon moving into our "luxury" unit, nothing was hooked up as stated in the lease (i.e. washer dryer, dishwasher, etc.) and City Realty would make false promises of prorating our rent, which NEVER happened - The newly renovated luxury unit was absolutely filthy with dirt and concrete/plaster droppings from maintenance all over the floors that I had to scrub and mop 3 times to get off - There were beer bottles in the bathroom cabinets. The entire house was just renovated, so it certainly did not come from previous tenants - There were 2 huge dumpsters sitting in our private parking lot, along with glass shards and debris all over the grounds that pierced my tire and deflated it - The walls had yellow dust all over them from when maintenance sanded the floors. They never bothered to clean them, leaving me with the responsibility of washing all the dust off throughout the whole unit (i.e. baseboards, heaters, doors, walls, floors, closet space, etc.) - City Realty Group was fined by the government for removing asbestos and lead paint ILLEGALLY from the "luxury" unit we rented while we were LIVING THERE - There was paint on the glass of the windows, on the cupboards in the kitchen, on the granite countertops... Luxury??? No. - Maintenance would show up to shut off electricity and the water to do repairs to the house without notifying us in advance. We had to stay in a hotel one night because of this! Unacceptable. - Maintenance refused to clear any of the walkways when it snowed, even though by Massachusetts Law they are obligated - City Realty changed the locks to the main security door and failed to tells us or bother to give us the new keys - City Realty changed the mailboxes twice and did not bother to give us the new keys for weeks. All of our mail was getting sent back to senders that would call us to verify our address to try to resend it - Doors in our unit did not shut because they were cut wrong such as for the bathroom - When we moved in, we discovered that maintenance had left a pile of rolled up, old shades on the floor of the unit in the bathroom. We also discovered that maintenance had left several old light fixtures sitting around the unit on the counters, as well as old, dirty rags that I am assuming were used to wipe up messes while renovating - City Realty had reconfigured where it was to put our washer/dryer set. The hole in the wall from the previous washer/dryer set was left unpatched, so there was a horrible draft in the bathroom that housed it All in all, the experience was terrible! City Realty Group may have scooped up some beautiful places, but there are too many metaphorical bad eggs working there that are destroying this realty company. I do not recommend the group until they create new managerial processes and have better oversight of properties to keep what happened to us from happening ever again.

Disgusting what you people are doing! Trying to scam people out of their homes by buying up condo's, taking over the association and then upping the association price so high people are being force out! The thing is, this is illegal! You are a bunch of crooks! I hope City Realty Group goes down like a rock in water! Shameful!!!

I'm sorry to all the other reviewers, but my experience was very good. They found me an apartment that was in my price point and the apartment was great! I will definitely be going back if I consider moving again!

Geoffrey Gaudet called me today after reading a by owner posting I had on craigslist where I had checked off "do not contact me with commercial interests". Geoffrey called me anyway and when I pointed out he was violating the terms of service for craigslist and I was not going to use him as my realtor, he told me, "not to have a cow about something so minor." When I pointed out it was not minor and that as a realtor he should respect privacy rights and advertiser terms of service, he then yelled at me that I was, "just a little freekin punk anyway," and hung up. When I called to make a complaint about the abusive call, I was hung up on. Stay far away from these people! Very bad crew and so many upstanding realtors you can choose from.
