If you want a nice, quiet place to live.. this may be for you. The apartments here stand out from some neighboring communities, one major perk is they are very well insulated. The doors seal well, the windows are great. I went from a $300 winter electric bill at an apartment down the street to about $80 in the winter here. The bad thing is, parking. There are very few available parking spots, unless you pay for a covered spot. The available spots on my end of the complex are taken up by the same folks every day, and during the daytime are taken up by contractors who are renovating apartments. At this point there is little to no guest parking, when friends come by they just park on the street and walk over. I am also extremely disappointed in the increase in rent. My neighbors just moved and said there was a rate hike, and I looked on the website. My rent is going from $1050 to $1600, which is very annoying because when I talked to the office staff about the apartment renovations in July I was told that the fully renovated 2X2 that I rent right now would only go to $1300. Not two weeks after that we see the rentals for $1600. The increased rental market is due to the high number of contractors that live in the community. We are after all right across the street from Intel. Since they are usually only here for a 12 or 18 month contract, they do not purchase property and only rent. This is why there is nowhere affordable to live out on this side of the city anymore. While overall I would say 99% of the people who live here are respectful and it's a great community (upstairs neighbor, are you bowling right now?), by raising the rent so high so quickly you cause good people who want to establish a home here to move out.

This place was fine up until the end of our lease. There were a few times that the management put notices on our doors for a "post move-in inspection" but never showed up. The location is great is you have a car. The closest max station is about a mile away which isn't bad. Now for the cons... The landscaping is loud and obnoxious and happens basically every day. For someone that works nights, it is awful. The walls are ridiculously thin. We are on the ground floor and could hear the upstairs neighbor sneezing, coughing, and even peeing in the bathroom. You also hear all the plumbing. We could've put up with it and resigned the lease, but the management decided to raise rent by $500. That is not an exaggeration. People have been moving out by the handful every week, blocking the parking lots with their moving vans. It's sad that they are being discriminatory against the lower middle class so if you cannot afford to pay at least $1600 in rent alone, don't bother with this place. There are cheaper places with better locations minutes from here.

I was happy with the apartment facilities and maintenance services throughout our stay. However, I was disappointed with the office communication. Towards the end of our stay while we were getting ready for vacating our apartment, I stopped by to the office to let them know that we will vacating around the time when our lease is ending (+5 days). At that point, I was told to let them know the exact date when I know. However, finally when we went to let them know the exact date, they asked for a written one month of notice. I wish they told this at the first time. By this way, I will have to pay 3-4 weeks of extra rent for no reason.

We have been here since September and the staff is very accommodating. Our apartment is wonderful. l needed a new dishwasher 3 weeks after we moved in and maintenance brought within 3 days. We love It here.
