I moved here in January and it was one of the worst decisions my boyfriend and I have ever made. Our cars got broken into and within the week a "security officer" tried to write my boyfriend a citation FOR PARKING OVER THE LINE since he couldn't see out of the window (because of the trash bag preventing the rain from getting in his car). Where was he when his head unit was stolen and our car burglarized? When I tried reporting this to management, their phone was disconnected. In addition to the horrible safety, the water continually gets shut off randomly without residents being told. Oh, you need to get ready for work or get a glass of water? Too bad. Sure, the space is okay for the money, but the lack of security, sketchy drug and gang members with guns that evidently pass the background check, and no attention to maintenance needs are not worth it. Our building also had an "added feature" of a garage to park your cars in (where ours got broken into). It floods every time it rains, making the elevator inaccessible...I feel sorry for the elderly and disabled in our building. I have teacups on my walls and people always run down the halls, making them shake as if they will fall off of the wall. Oh, and WOMEN cannot see into the peep hole to check to see who is at their door; it is at least 6 feet off of the ground. The shower goes from hot to cold instantly, our sink leaks and causes the grout to mold, and the lights in the garage and hallway go out so often that it looks like a horror movie. DO NOT RENT. I thought it was a good idea at first for a couple trying to save money on their first apartment too...but we were quickly proven wrong. SAVE YOURSELVES.
The only thing good is the maintnance man is nice they are some times understanding about rent if it's an emergency other than that it's mice it's moldy they don't like to fix it anything my husband and I moved here engaged to save money never again!!!! Ugh
waldo heights apartments is a rented nightmare I have been in waldo heights apartment for 2 years I have done all I can to be in compliance with their lease but I've had to contend with poor manners and terrible business ethics from the office staff they ignored my grievances I've had to exterminate roaches ,mice, and spiders. there is mold on the walls and mold on the tracks of the sliding doors ,in the basement where the pool is supposed to be ,is a filthy nasty wet hole in the floor ,grown over with mildew and mold and it gives off a fowl shinking odor all day ,there's no way out of here if fire erupts. the doors to the basement are sealed up that lead outside . there is no way to get to the laundry room without going outside and walking around the building I am disabled and I live on the second floor and climbing stairs are difficult and very painful for me and the elevator is always in a state of disrepair or broken 6 out of 12 months. the only thing they do with that building is send you threats of eviction, for late payment of rent, that's all they care about is your money this place is a real bug ,rat trap and the staff really sucks .you will see many other reviews that corroborate what I'm telling you these people are very rude and disrespectful
Restrictions were not enforced. Considerations for residences peace not considered. Loud noises irritation ignored or not enforced. Newly renovated buildings however construction is of sip shod.
I'm disabled elevator broken down I cannot walk down stairs I'm trapped on second floor!!!:(
