Lovely room, fine breakfast and concierge services. Justin and Charles were great checking us in. However every interaction with housekeeping turned out to be harsh and rude. After I answered a question from a housekeeper she turned and walked away with no response such as "I heard you" or "thank you." No response whatsoever. My companion also had a rude housekeeper. The gentleman (materials?) was helpful and quite nice since our room needed no attention our second night. Had housekeeping not been rude and almost hateful, this Comfort Suites would have gotten five stars. I stay at Comfort Suites regularly and this is an anomaly I think and hope but it was bothersome, the rudeness from the housekeeping staff.

The WiFi didn't work the 3 days I was here. Management and staff didn't really seem worried about getting the issue fixed. Small thunderstorm rolled through the area the last night of the stay and the power was out over 6 hours. Staff was very rude. They say they are in downtown, hotel is a mile from the downtown. I will not be staying at this hotel in the future.

Positives first - Facility was nice. Room was clean and bedding comfortable. Nice sofa and TV offered all the channels we needed in a quick stay. Negatives - Breakfast was terrible ... There was plenty of food but the quality was even less than I had expected in a free breakfast. I am picky with food but even the not-so-picky members of our party thought it was bad quality. The WORST part was the hidden charges. When I checked in the rate was the same as I saw online for the room only. They have a $10 parking fee added on top even though the lady that checked me in said it was included and the reason I had to initial it was to show that they broke that out of the fee. Not so. They tack it on top. Also, the form they had me initial and sign showed my charges at $89 which I thought was the total fee including taxes but apparently my naivety won over as the final bill included an additional $10 for parking plus over $13 in taxes so when I thought my total fee including everything was $89 I was surprised when I got a invoice slid under my door during the middle of the night showing my total was actual over $111. I felt deceived and even though I know you have taxes on hotels I did think the $89 was the total as she made me sign and initial a form showing that after she ran my credit card. So ... In the end our stay was fine and the room was nice and clean. I could have just done without the hidden fees and BS that made me feel like I was dealing with sly people instead of just being honest and upfront about the total costs.

Hotel room had a musty smell to it. And couch had stains all over it. Hard to figure out TV, as it has a small receiver that was tucked back behind TVstand. Breakfast was similar to other level hotel chains.

For starters, you cant get an 89 dollar room like they advertise. My company booked me a $116 rate. It wasn't until after I was totally checked in that they pointed out an additional $10 fee just to park my car in their lot. Not an adjoining lot or someone elses lot. Their lot! Really??? The place was nice but not 126 dollars nice.
Most errands can be accomplished on foot.
Flat as a pancake, excellent bike lanes.
