the apartment is just thrown together our carpet and the alleged tile in the bathroom isn't properly laid there isn't even primer on the walls but there's primer on the door and our door is not properly put on to place there's a 1/8 inch gap between the door and the door frame not to mention that the walls are paper thin and the garbage disposal didn't work they fixed it and then a week later it didn't work again!! and for the people with a down stairs apartment the windows rattle whenever someone upstairs takes a step!!! this is ridiculous I wouldn't wish this apartment on my worst enemy this place is so sloppily thrown together and the management is incompetent and I went to pay the rent an hour before they close and the second in command I guess told me to come back in an hour so I come back and there closed!! and had the nerve to expect me to pay $50 more because the rent was a day late. WHAT!!!! I was told to come back in an hour I returned and she'd closed for the day they should let you live here for free as terrible as this place is.

So what started as a nice complex and nice people a year ago, things have changed dramatically here very quick. When I moved in it was a nice place to live for a reasonable price. Since I have moved, the people are getting to be a little more suspect. Me and my girlfriend are quiet people that keep to ourselves but when I step out of my apartment and see people hanging out at all hours of the night, it doesn't sit well with me. People blasting music in the pool and the ghetto's calling out the local drug dealers name at night, It has gotten very "dark" here at the crest and you can see the difference. Maybe apartments aren't selling that well and they just let anyone in. Luckily my car or apartment hasn't been broken into. Not to mention the bad roach problem that I currently have in the apartment and were very clean people! Despite the negative reputation Betty has gotten, she has been helpful the few times I have been in the office. Her slave is a airhead and doesn't know what the hell she's doing and she is pretty rude. Oh and make sure no one in your family or friends park inside because they tow cars. Betty is quick to call the tow truck and I learned my lesson by the way of 300 dollars that she even calls the tow truck on her own residence. There are a few "normal" people that have jobs and just keep to themselves but then theres the "dark" crowd that don't have jobs that hang around all day waiting by the mailbox to collect their checks. If you come during the day I'm sure you'll see the ghetto family that rides an electrical cart everywhere lol. Already signed my lease to my next place that is better then this hell hole. I'm just glad I'm leaving before it gets worse. I wouldn't recommend this place to my hobo uncle.

dont ever rent here at the crest!!! one, we where all ready to move in and they tell us that the apartment wasnt ready!! if we can wait 2 more weeks, we told them no cuz we have all are stuff in the moving truck. so the bathroom was unfinished the paint was horriable, we wrote down everything that need to be done... and they said that they would do it!! was there a year they never did anything my bathroom got flooded and they didnt come till the nexted day and my carpet got all wet and they didnt replace it till a week later, they didnt put new carpet, the bathroom had no walls all we seen where the pipes and wood for 4 months it took them to patch it up... this place is bad, what makes it worse is that the managment and the lady in the office are rude and dispresectfull. they can ask for the rent money but cant fix anything, they need people to call houseing on this place cuz its not safe for kids to live in....... who ever is reading this can tell that everyone hates this place its not worth the money you pay rent for,,,, dont move here!!go to the highlands apartments!!!

this is the worst place i have ever lived in. my family and i got locked in the apt. and had to climb out the window to get in and out ( mind you not while 6 months preg.) because our door knob broke maintenance would not come to fix it. Betty was horrible to me acting like it was my fault saying to me " i deserve a day off to!" saying i would have to pay for the maintenance guy to come out to work over time take it they dont work on the weekends! everything break and leaks and it invested with roaches!!! the harest part is that no matter what is said or done it will never change...

This place would be decent enough to live in if it was not for the horrible management staff. It iss quiet, clean, and safe. The price is fair and the unit is a decent size. I would say I would recommend it, but NO I will nott because The Crest has management that is both incompetent and lazy. Betty is hands-down the worse apartment manager I have ever dealt with. I avoid her at all cost because she such a horrible person. She acts like you asking her to simply do her job is such a burden. The times where I am forced to contact her for apartment repairs, she is so sloppy it will take over a month to get a stupid leak repaired. The owners of this complex seriously need to fire her or they will lose a lot of tenants.
