The staff here was very helpful the entire time we were here (5 months). My girlfriend and I Moved into an apartment facing Econ. The apartment was clean with new carpets, new oven, and freshly painted rooms. The apartment was great, never herd anyone make loud noises and I even liked the hot tub(although it could have been a little more clean). I had a couple problems with my experience here that i took 1 star off for. One problem occurred when I moved out early. They charged me $250 for painting the walls and 500 for not giving them 30 days notice. My walls were clean and I was under the impression after talking to management that I would not be charged the 500 dollars because I had been an exceptional tenant. Surprise surprise, its my fault I didn't get any of this information in writing and was charged anyway. The other problem I had was with the internet provider. They only offer Century Link ( which requires a 12 month contract), the other provider is a small company from Kentucky called INC GROUP. I chose INC because they had a no annual contract but boy O' boy did they stink. Not only was the highest speed 5MB up/ 750 kb down(yes these are real numbers) but they didn't even have an online payment option. This is an INTERNET company who is supposed to specialize in online services who does not have an ONLINE payment option. How Ironic. The final problem was the water services specialist they contracted with based out of Sarasota FL. If you do anything other than a mailed physical check there is a minimum 5 dollar "convenience fee". These items were stressful to deal with, being a recent grad who does all of my payment online. Colonial Point needs to contract with better internet providers and utility providers.

Would give 0 stars if I could. First they are cheap. If you request maintenance they bill you for the service call and then for the parts they used. I had an issues that I tried to fix on my own however after being told they have to perform all the maintenance I had to schedule a time for them to fix a pipe. I bought the pipe from Walmart for 11$ and asked the tech if he could use it instead of billing me for it. He said no and not only is the tech fat and smelly he took 2 hours to complete a repair that took me 25 minutes. He also tracked mud on our carpet and when I notified the management staff they said they spoke to him and he said he did not leave the footprints, which wound up with me paying for the cleaning. Also the management staff is very hard to talk to. When you try to ask questions or get answers they always put you on hold for 10/15 minutes and there response is always we don't know or I cant help you because we don't do that it is all higher management. Terrible place to live would not recommend or live there again, it is cheap living as rent is not that expensive but after it was all said and done I would have rather payed a little more a month to have a place I enjoyed living it or coming home to.

I really enjoyed living there, until it was time to move out. They totally screwed us over, I thought they would be different. Will be taking them to court, what a waste of time for an otherwise happy time living there. Pity.
