THIS PLACE IS AWFUL NOW, A NEW MANAGER MOVED IN AND SHES MADE AWFUL DECISION AFTER AWFUL DECISION. SHE REMOVED ALL THE TRASH CANS THROUGHOUT THE PROPERTY SO THAT EVERYONE HAS TO WALK TO ONE DUMPSTER. SHE CUT DOWN ALL THE TREES CREATING PRIVACY ON THE BACK DECKS. SHE YELLS AT PEOPLE WHEN THEY ASK HER SOMETHING. THIS NEW LADY IS THEY WORST PERSON I HAVE EVER MET, DO NOT EVER MOVE IN HERE!!!!!

I lived here with my grandmother about 45 years ago. I loved it. It reminded me of England.....lots of atmosphere, very quiet and peaceful. I learned to swim here. My grandmother was the assistant manager and her friend was manager here, then manager to the 'new' units that went in next door to this complex. Good memories...

This is the worth manager I've ever seen, since she came Edgewater isn't Edgewater anymore, she's always yelling at people, even if she need a favor she gonna yell at you, I've seen her when she yell at workers too, damn .. Shes really mean whit them.. Never ever go to this place!!!

Yes, there are spiders in the summer, but if you seal the walls, they aren't an issue, and no there aren't the modern conveniences of dishwashers, garbage disposals or W/D in the apartments, but I love living at Edgewater! The man who runs the place is kind and honest, the in-unit repairs are done timely and the landscaping in wonderful. The neighbors are nice and the location can't be beat!

I lived there from November 2005-July 2007. I only left because I moved out of state. I had a one bedroom apartment, that had no water views or pool views, but I didn't care anyway. It was expensive (I was one of the last people to pay 850), and they don't even have dishwashers or washer/dryer in the aparments.....but as they say in real estate...location, location,location. In the summers you can walk down to the lake and jump off the diving board into the lake until sun down, then go get a pitcher of beer and a burger at the local pub.A cab to downtown and Capitol Hill won't be that much, and there is bus service to downtown, too. Additionally, this place is packed with good looking women. There were always attractive girls down at the pool and down in the town at the local eateries/bars. Most were either students at UW or early working professionals. Most of them were very cool and sociable, as well. You will get ripped off when you leave. I cleaned my place immaculately because I needed all of the money back for my move out of state. I got about 45 dollars back on 300. No quesiton about it you'll get robbed on this one. And parking sucks...I usually parked illegaly by a stop sign, however, because I didn't feel like walking. Sometimes I got ticketed...but not that often. I don't think you'll be dissapointed if you do it. Especially if you are single. The Edgewater is hardly ever vacant...that should say something right there. If it causes you considerable heart burn to lose a couple hundred dollars on the way out (which every landlord does these days) then it's not for you.
