Went here for a date last night, I must say this is a very swanky wall street type of a place. I loved the old school decor. The velvet red couches were nice. The drinks and food were on the pricey NYC side. If you are there with good company then it makes it all worth it.

not a bad place, but despite this pushed through seat didnt let me relax. Considering the cost of drinks, they suppose to have moscato wine, with they didn't :( Plus it's too loud there and very hard to hear what your companion is talking about

Went last night after theater matinee. The Apartment it self was closed due to private party. Had a martini in the Campbell parlor. The place was filthy, the drinks watery and the food - roast beef sliders - tasteless and horrible. The prices - outrageous. The noise level unbelievable - the acoustics - horrible - could not even hear your self speak. Will go someplace else next time

Great little cocktail bar. Chill spot which is a nice refuge from the hustle of GC station. Drinks were great. Bartender could have been a LOT better.

Not your average speakeasy so to say, The Campbell Apartment is both a historic landmark and an excellent destination for craft cocktails, especially if you find yourself stranded waiting for a train near Grand Central. The entrance is located by walking through Cipriani and heading up a narrow staircase. Once you've climbed up, prepare to witness a cavernous bar with high ceilings that used to be the office of a wealthy New Yorker from the 1920s. There is a dress code of business casual though when I went I was wearing sneakers and was not told I could not enter, perhaps because it was still early. Once inside soak in the atmosphere and get their signature cocktail, the Prohibition Punch, a not too sweet melange of rum, champagne and other liquors that definitely packs a punch without being overwhelming (except perhaps to your wallet, 19$). Bottom Line: If you don't mind paying a little extra for your drinks then definitely swing by the apartment, the atmosphere alone is worth a visit.
