I lived here for about 14 months. I liked the community activities they held and how nice the kept up with landscaping and washer problems. It was difficult talking to the main staff but the maintenance guys were super nice and courteous. I know the neighborhoods around the area aren't the best and I heard a lot of police sirens there, but to reassure people. I once walked out to work and left the door open. It was wide open when I got back but nothing was missing or touched. It helped reassure me that in the community it wasn't all that bad. Will actually miss Santa Rosa Apartments.

Lived there 4 months and glad to be out. The management was unresponsive to most needs and did not return calls. My car was broken into, vandalized, and I was left with a $600+ bill to make it operational again, so do not think their courtesy patrol means anything. The paint was so thick in the apartment that the doors stuck. I was scared to have my kids close the bathroom door, because I knew that they would not be able open it without help. The windows and doors provide no hot/cold resistance to the outside, so our electric bill was usually $200/month in the winter for a 1000 square-foot place…that is ridiculous. People rummage through the trash bins almost on the hour throughout the day and night. Furniture is discarded near the dumpsters and often sits there for weeks before being removed. Be aware that they will make you pay for a professional carpet cleaning out of your deposit when you leave. I had to pay that even though the maintenance person who did the walk through agreed that the place was cleaner than when we moved in. Also, they never told us we owed any remaining utility costs when we moved out, and then a little over a month after we moved out, we received a gas bill for $1.98 with a $35.00 collection fee, and the management had no ability to deal with it on my behalf. They often just tell you to deal with it. If the management knew what they were doing, they would have taken the residual out of my despite, BEFORE returning it to me, and saved me the $35 collection fee. I would recommend against living at the Santa Rosa apartments. If you have other options you can consider, it would probably be best to live somewhere else. Good luck.

I've lived at Santa Rosa for 4 months. I spent three months without a functional dishwasher, one month without a functional refrigerator, and several winter nights without heat. The office managers are absent from the office on nearly every visit, and good luck getting anything fixed when they're not in. Avoid this place like the plague.

In every situation there is good and bad. Sometimes you see security but when I come at night I don't see any. I've heard of cars getting broken into and clothes stolen from the dryers, my own daughter wont go outside because she's afraid even during the day time. You get people digging through the trash bins constantly, I've been approached by them asking for a lighter and I don't even smoke, I don't like it. There are pot holes in the parking lot, and cracks in the sidewalk. The plus side were centrally located and its reasonable and they fix things in a timely manner.

I have lived at the Santa Rosa apartments for 4 years. The personal respect recieved by the office managers and maintanence is overly appriciated. The events that are held for the tenents are unique compared to other apartment complexes as far as activities. The commardy between the staff is very close knit. Overall, I have enjoyed and will continue to enjoy my home here for many more years to come! P.S special thanks to the office staff for baking my cookies everyday! - BIG AL
