I went 3 months ago and I thought the food was fantastic. Unfortunately that was not the case when I came back last weekend. All of the food ranged from luke warm to cold. Even after the food was reheated, everything was rather bland. The hollandaise sauce was virtually tasteless. The staff was apologetic which I did appreciate, but overall it was not enough to make up for the lackluster food. Especially for the price point, one would expect at least food that is warm and somewhat flavorful.

First time I experienced dining at the Front Porch and the service was terrible! I can't believe how long I waited to be served and my waiter did not check up on me at ALL! The ambience (decor) was beautiful however, there was not a welcoming presence. The food was okay and I was missing shrimp in my pasta. Definitely not worth the prices. So much for a nice night out :/

Ambience was great, Front porch on deck eating outside was relaxing ,friendly wait staff was top notch. The crab cakes where good, great wine and beer had a nice selection. The sea bass with Jasmine rice and veggie was awesome. The shrimp on a bed of grits with bourbon gravy where to die for. Never had grits like this. Holy cow. Lol your gonna love the food. The desserts O M G. The coconut cake and keylime pie with mango drizzle amazing! $$$

First, the food. Let me start by saying that the food was excellent. However the limited and overpriced menu was very disappointing. There were gnats inside and it was hard to keep them away from the booth we were seated in. The food started at about $12. Our waiter was very informal and dressed in jeans. She had limited knowledge of the menu and did not provide us with a desert menu. By the time I ordered I was wondering what I was paying for. Surely the taste of the food couldn't make up for the bad service and terrible ambiance. I was correct in this assumption, my bill was around $80, and I couldve gotten better service, ambiance, and the same quality meal at Chili's for $40. Before we finished eating the waiter began busing the tables next to us and placing the chairs on top of the tables signifying "it's time for you to leave". So we left. Next the management. I went to this restaurant because I knew several former and current employees who recommended the food. What I am about to tell you is information from current employees. This restaurant is terrible to work for simply because the CHEF and MANAGER do not follow basic work place rules that they put in place. Which explains the poor customer service and low moral of the workers. As a manager myself I know that it is extremely important to establish a set of rules in the work place and set of punishments. I.e Don't be late for work or else you will get written up. If you get written up 3 times you're fired. All write ups must be justified. The front porch in NO WAY abides by these rules.

While i was in Tallahassee i stop by the restaurant, the waiter took a very long time to attend to our needs, when he finally came to our table, and we ordered our food, he informed us they did not have all of our order, they also did not have a beverages nor the liquor we like. when the food came out the order was wrong on several dishes, the salad had to much pepper, the medium steak one of us order we burnt, and that is after waiting almost 45 min for the food, they were not accommodating to remove the bad dinner orders from the bill, and only offered us a desert we did not wont, the experience was terrible and would never recommend this restaurant. for the bad service and bad for the bill was over $160,00 go elsewhere....!!!!
