Museum employees Tressa and Conner made my day when I visited the Rodin last Wednesday. In fact, they turned what could have been a disappointing stop -- due to bad information about the availability of a staffed coat check -- into a lovely afternoon. Conner and Tressa went above and beyond. They watched my carry-on baggage (I was leaving from the museum to go to the airport, and didn't have anywhere else to put it), even allowing me to go to lunch. Conner took the time to call me a cab, and even carried my heaviest bag out for me. Yes, the collection, grounds, and arrangement of the pieces are all superb. Even more than my love of Rodin's work, though, I'll be back because the staff at the Rodin Museum are such terrific people. Next time, though, I'll know in advance to leave my luggage elsewhere :-). Such a fantastic spot in Philadelphia. This tiny spot of heaven is one more reason why Philadelphia is one of the most underrated cities that you should visit.

Everything is a must see. Simply breathtakingly beautiful.

The largest collection of Rodin's work outside of Paris, the Rodin Museum in Philadelphia is not to be missed. Walk past the Thinker, gaze upon the Gates of Hell, and see some beautiful art. Oh, and admission is free, but please donate!
