This is a response about the false reviews above. What kind of self absorbed person are you by lying about people that you don't know. Just because you probably didn't get accepted after submitting your application doesn't mean you should try to hurt someone by slandering their name online. You don't know those people, just like I don't know you. But you have really shown what kind of person you are by trashing someone's name by lying about them online. Apparently hiding behind your keyboard wasn't enough because you deleted your account shortly after your post so no one could confront you about your false accusations. Trying to ruin someone's life by throwing around such seriously outright fabrications is utterly ridiculous. Review the apartments, good or bad, but leave the staff out of it. They have families and lives that go beyond work and those people and families have to live with what people say online. Be mindful what you lie about because it may make you feel better at the time but your words will live around longer than you do. Your words represent what kind of person you are, your lies will tell your story more than those they are about.

HIGH PRICE, RUDE MANAGEMENT, BUGS AND INSECTS, TOO MUCH NOISE, NOT ENOUGH PARKING SPACE: We lived there for nearly six months and these apartments are very noisy and thin walled. you can hear everything from the people upstairs. The management is really rude once they get you to sign a lease. We noticed bed bugs within one months and complaned to management and they never did anything. Finaly I had to move out and break the lease that additionally cost me my all furniture which I have to throw due to bed bugs. Dont go there if you need peace of mind. The lake keeps apartment damp and full of insects the freeway location makes it very noise. Gym is full of junk none of the instrument is working.Management is full of snobby women who talk down to you. they have never once fixed anything i have requested. You wake up around 7 every morning to the thunder of people walking down the hallway stairs. Every door that shuts wakes me up. There was a rape here a little less than 2 yrs. ago. Somebody just hung themself a few days ago. A shooting happened about 2 weeks ago. An entire 12 bedroom building burnt down last night, and there is not one fire extinguisher ANYWHERE in the buildings. If you want to live in a craphole with the worst management then this is the place for you. PLEASE IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING MOVING HERE, DO NOT DO IT. YOU WILL END UP COUNTING THE DAYS UNTIL YOUR LEASE IS UP LIKE MYSELF! one last thing, they so not provide supplies/ trashcans for cleaning up dog mess outside.

I have lived at Woodspring since January 2010. I made the mistake to move in to the first place I looked at. It is expensive for the size. I was told my electricity shouldn't be more than $60/month. Well, I don't have a washer and dryer, nor do I use A/C, leave things plugged in, use Dish washer, anything, and my Duke bill has been $90+. I absolutely HATE the fact I have to put trash in my car to take it to the dumpster. If the buy-out wasn't $2330, I would have left earlier. I can say however, noise isn't an issue. *MAKE SURE IF YOU MOVE IN: DO THE MOVE IN CHECKLIST. MAKE SURE YOUR WINDOWS AND FRONT DOOR ISN'T DRAFTY AND THROUGHLY INSPECT THE APARTMENT BEFORE MAKING THE DECISION*

There are so many reason to not live here! I would never have moved in if I would have known how horrible this place was. 1) rent- Its too high for too little. For a 2 bed 2 bath first floor apartment its 775 a month. My Duke bill has not been under 200 dollars since I've moved in and my apt stay chilly at 72. I'm gone for most of the day and only have a light and a tv on at night. I use my dish washer about 2-3 times a week. One of the top reasons to move here was low util. bills. NOT TRUE! 2) parking- I have two small children that I have to carry most of the time due to them sleeping one is in a carrying car seat. Sometimes the only parking spaces are close to 100 feet away from my building. Which makes it hard when you go to the store for food and have two small kids with no help due to my husband being on deployment. 3) the staff- RUDE! they didn't have the 2nd key to my door I've still never recived it. I've been here since Oct 24th 2010. They are not understanding at all. They did not tell me all of the leasing opions they had they just signed me up for 13 months. 4)The couple that lives above me is rude and they stomp around all hours of the night. The first week we were here my 3 year old shoved the front door shut and they yelled out there stop slaming that G@& D@*# door. 5) maintance- slow and not good at what they do. It took them over a month to fix the toilet that wasn't put down right. The globe in the laundry room fell off by its self the smoke detecter in my daughters' room is hanging down. DONT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
