Awesome fish tacos my hun n me ordered the baja swordfish n the island tuna tacos ...so deliscious. I never had fish tacos before n these made a Great n finger licking good 1st impression with a side of chips n dip...corona...n shrimp yummy!!!!

Great selection of cold brews and an abundance of pretty gals makes this place the perfect combination :)

Only "Mexican Restaurant" open after 9 or 10pm in the Norfolk area it seems. Not exactly authentic Mexican and more of a bar. In reality it is a hipster joint offering trivia, bingo, karaoke on select nights. A good selection of craft beers and a good atmosphere akin to a dive. Food was good and priced right. Drinks were a little on the pricey side but I was drinking a quality imperial IPA which always comes at premium. All beers seemed to be served in pint glasses, which is fine by me. A true to form might have been looking for a tulip glass for such a fine dark craft imperial IPA. Bathrooms could use a makeover and place could be cleaner and plenty of room for renovation. Decor is a bit out of place. But all in all the way she is, is a part of her personality, charm, and atmosphere. I would return when in the area again.

Me and a friend who I hadn't seen in a couple years walked to this place tonight for supper. First they the owner apparently had a fit when I walked in with a coffee from across the street. Which really didn't do anything for making the place inviting. The ambiance was near negligible, unless your into the whole 'dive' thing really. But we were in the mood for Mexican, and the businesses in Ghent typically don't disappoint. So me and my friend decided to eat outside, since the weather was reasonable. When the order of chips and salsa came out, I was instantly unimpressed. The chips were not fresh at all. The come pre-prepared and way to salty. Not to mention they could at least make them more appetizing my warming them up. We ended up ordering tacos. After a wait of 15-20 minutes the tacos arrived. The rice was under-cooked and hard. And to top it all off the crab in the crab tacos, my friend got, was spoiled and fishy tasting, and gave him food poisoning a little while later. A truly pathetic attempt at the culinary arts. If I was the cook I would be ashamed at the quality of food that I was willing to let out of my kitchen. If this is what they produce when the place is only half full I'd hate to see how bad it is with a full house. I would recommend you stay clear of this place, as it is obvious that the cook and owner are not aren't in the mind set to produce food that won't make you sick, let alone food that tastes good.
