Ive stayed here previously and have had horrible service. Especially coming from the supposed 'supervisor on duty'. Im sure if that person reads this, he'll remember us staying there and quite frankly i dont care because guess what, ill NEVER stay there again PERIOD. And anyONE i come across ill tell them my experience and not recommend them. Anyways, my husband and i made reservations a few weeks beforehand to stay there for my birthday. Everything was confirmed and good to go until when we actually made the trip there. We were supposed to check in at 2 pm. We stopped by the beach first to take my daughter swimming. We called the hotel and asked if it would be alright to check in past 2 because we were still at the beach. They said it was ok. We came about an hour after that-- only to find that when we finally got there they said our room wasnt ready. I told the gentleman helping us to help us understand WHY the room isnt ready because it shouldve been ready by 2pm... And we pretty much gave them an extra hour by coming later.. The supervisor stepped in and said the same thing. And all they kept saying was the room isnt ready. Come on now... If anyone in the hospitality industry was put in a situation where their guest didnt understand why something was the way it was, they would help understand or provide info as to why. To me saying, its just 'not ready' doesnt cut it. Okay i COMPREHEND it isnt but WHY isnt it ready?? Did the housekeeper forget to clean it?Was it because we checked in late and you only start to clean it when we get there? Is it because you gave away our room? ... The supervisor held onto his answer firmly. That it just wasnt ready. And he typed away angrly at the keyboard. And finally said they found a room that is available BUT its non smoking. And i said 'ok? Yeah, thats what we wanted anyway.' And he proceeds to say we had booked a SMOKING room. I told him when we booked it over the phone we specifically said NONsmoking because none of us smoke. Again, another issue. By that time i just told my husband to handle it because the staff was giving me a headache. They finally got us into a non smoking room after that. To me, the way the situation was handled demonstrated very poor guest service. Will never stay there again!!!!!

Fantastic location. Nice updated rooms. The rest of the hotel is a tad dated but all and all its a great stay especially for the price in downtown Burbank. Easy walk to amazing restaurants, shopping, mall and movie theater. Restaurant on the 18th floor has killer views and a really good happy hour. Hardly anyone knows about it, never crowded which is a nice change for LA.

Rooms are in but the service sucks. I have had WiFi for the last 4 days and now it will not work. When I called it they said that I looks like I was trying to hijack there service so they will not help me... BS. the restaurant THE PEOPLES CHOICE... what a joke!! 90% of the menu is over priced and the food is horrible. I had a chicken sandwich the other day that was dry is cardboard. Thought I would give it another chance today for lunch I had the club and garlic fries. Most of the fries were overcooked and came with raw garlic over top of them the club was okay but I had to pick up the nasty yellow letters. Would not recommend this place only reason I'm still here is because work is paying for it will not let me move. Oh and when I did have WiFi it didn't work very well. Tried to watch a base ball game online. Had to sit in a chair right next to me door b4 if would stream without interruptions ever 30 sec.

Very convenient for downtown Burbank, but not a very good hotel. The lobby and ground floor area have all been refurbished and look pleasant enough, unfortunately the rooms are another story. The lifts are old and tattered, and rather in need of a coat of paint. My 5th floor room and colleagues 8th floor rooms were very tired looking, and were obviously in desperate need of refurbishing, complete with sticky carpets and tattered walls. There was a noisy fridge deposited along one of the walls in my room, which could and should have been boxed in to help with the noise. Although that might not have helped a great deal as the frequent car alarms in the parking garage outside my window nicely augmented the fridge to guarantee a troubled nights sleep. They hotel managed to loose part of my dry cleaning, and after two days of trying to persuade me I only left them with two shirts, despite my receipt saying four, they 'found' the other two. The dry cleaning was then supposed to be 'on the house', but looks to have turned up on my bill; so I need to take that up with them. But worst of all the water from the two floors I've experienced smelt strongly of sulfer, making it I suspect undrinkable. As such I had to drink and brush my teeth with bottled water. Not a great hardship, but unfortunately the vending machines were frequently out of bottled water, meaning that you either had to buy it in, in advance; or traipse down to the bar to get some. So all in all, I shall be suggesting to my employer that we take our business elsewhere.
