To preface this, I have literally never written a review in my life, and this living experience was so horrible I am actually taking the time to write my first one. Let me be clear….this is the worst F*cking place on earth to live. I am a young professional who wanted to live in a high scale luxury apartment. This place is hell on earth, there are no trash compartments on any floors because the entire place is a giant garbage dump. You will think that is the worst factor, until you actually have to wait 25 minutes to take an elevator up to your apartment after coming home from a 12 hour day. (yes the stairs aren't accessible and the elevators break easily once a month). The only person working at the entire complex who is human is Richard, otherwise do not plan on management caring about anything. Seriously please go live at the grigio for 300 less and get a lake view, (by the way they fail to mention that parking is 80 a month so just add that to any price.) The move in deposit is only 250 because they automatically will add on 850 onto your final month of rent for "move out fees". Seriously I thought like you did and said "what is a few bad reviews it looks cool", let me be clear this will be the biggest mistake of your year living here.

I moved in 2 years ago when this place was an utopia...6 months in the new management took over and that was the turning point to mega disappointment . I was paying $1400 for 660 square feet ( crazy right ) expecting the best of the best....Turns out the head woman running the place now does not care about standards or rules or repairing the damage as she does not train her staff or security to the rules and regulations. Also DO NOT move in the West side as the building the Tempe Fire Department will wake you through the night with their sirens, and the huge mega train, and the garbage is picked up at 4:30 am...course if you live on the east side Mill avenue night clubs will wake you till 2am....The Doorman will fob up anyone after 6 o clock...so if you want a free work out or a swim and jacuzzi just show up to tower 2 and he will let you in...???? ....hot water.....was a prayer in the morning..and the elevators breakdown 3 times a month....wait till you see the misters by the lounge chairs at the pool..twisted and dripping rusted water...oh and the 300 pound potted plant pulled into the pool and never replaced..cigarette burns in the lounge chairs...oh and tons of broken glass at the pool...ask about their last 4th of July when they had to shut down the pool with police tape because their crack security teams were not told of the rules of the pool... DO NOT MOVE IN TO WEST 6TH..when i moved out i noticed that all the dollies donated had their tires slashed by disgruntled tenants..so don't ask for a dolly....here are the pics.....

I still don't understand how people move to a luxury apartment on Mill Ave and are surprised about partying and noise. I work with the leasing agents all the time, Richard especially and they're great. I came here to be next to mill bars and be social and have fun and that's what I'm personally getting. No issue with construction although it is there. There is NO place with better amenities between pool theatre's distance the GYM is great. It's all great. Stop being so negative there's places in the valley that charge over a grand just for the room and none of all this extra stuff

View 5 stars , management 1 star, room 2.5 stars, maintenance 1 star. Location 2 stars The view is unbelievable. Really it could be the best in the area. The management team was horrible. They claim noise levels are low and that they will correct the issues if it isn't. Simply a lie. It's on a college campus... it's going to be loud. They also could not be less competent in fixing issues in the apartment. The room was nice but overly priced for how small it was. There is no kitchen storage space whatsoever and the closet was too small. The maintenance guys were always nice but that's where the compliments end. They missed appointments left and right and never seemed to fix anything. They would almost weekly post notes on your door that the water would be shut off THAT MORNING for 6 hours. You gotta shower before work? Too bad. A little notice is expected. In addition to that and quite possibly the most annoying thing of all... the elevators are breaking down almost daily. A 30 floor apartment building cannot run with one elevator. You can wait upwards of 15 minutes for an elevator only to have it be full and the process starts all over again. This is simply ridiculous and it never gets fixed. The location is always a personal preference. Mill ave is great but they do shut it down a lot and that can get annoying. You have to drive out of the building's garage into another parking garbage to get out onto the street. This can add about 20 minutes to your commute. Positives: the gym was very nice. The pool area (when it was heated) was very nice. The views are always great and it is convenient for anything at ASU. All in all, for the price you pay, this is not worth it.

Every day i wake up to construction right next to west 6th at 5:30am half the residents living here have the same problem. Hanover the same company that owns West 6th is building 2 more towers and doesn't care about anyone living here. The staff here is lying to people touring to try to get them to sign leases the noise is really bad and will not get better til the construction is done over a year from now. Theres a woman with a newborn baby who lives on my floor who has to deal with her child getting woken up every morning too. Unfortunately I'm stuck living here because the only leases you can sign to live here have no outs or escape clauses. Ontop of that these are the most overpriced apartments in the state you can get all the features and amenities at University house or the Hub that you get here for 30% less. Also my apartment flooded last fall. DONT LIVE HERE!!!
