I've toured this location and really liked the layout. It is very spacious and the staff was very knowledgeable as I have never rented an apartment before so I was unsure of the procedures. I had many questions and they answered all of them. They have onsite maintenance which is a huge plus. They have onsite laundry facilities as well. Security is there at night time. Unfortunately they do not have a lot of availability, so I did have to look elsewhere, but when my lease is up I will be contacting them again.

Overall layout of our apartment was nice but don't expect anything back from your DEPOSIT. They (Jean the manager) will take it! Lived there for a while, I NEVER threw parties, clean freak, and they still charged us for ridiculous charges. They assume that since they HAVE to clean it out anyways for the next renters, they might as well charge it off the deposit. 2 neighbors who lived there around my time claimed the same thing. -parking is super tight. -remember they have no A/C If you plan on living here, make sure you become friends with the stairs because GT has a lot of them and expect to throw out $600+ for deposit.

I consider Grand Terrace Apartments to be a great find. Unlike most apartments in Long Beach that seem to be clustered together, on or off of PCH near traffic circle, for example, Grand Terrace is on a residential street just south of Anaheim Blvd. It’s not one you’d come across in doing a Long Beach drive around in search of apartments and I kind of prefer it that way. I’ve been here a number of years now. They call themselves apartment homes/townhouse style, which is really true. I’ve been asked by company on many occasions whether I rent or own. The grounds/landscaping have always been well maintained. Gated complex with a night security patrol. Pool, spa, covered parking. The interiors are upgraded for a pretty modern feel. Both the exterior and apartment interiors don’t have the dated look of other nearby apartments that were probably built around the same time (I’ve got friends in other Long Beach apartments). I’ve been happy here and have no plans of leaving any time soon.

I just moved here this year (2013) and so far, I love it. Since Anaheim is just a block away, I expected street noise, but for whatever reason there isn't any at all. The place is pretty quiet. It's gated, there's parking inside for each apartment unit, laundry room in each building, a security guard at night, pool, jacuzzi. It's all kept clean. Each apartment has its own balcony/porch area. The insides are nice with hardwood floors. Kitchen with frig, microwave, dishwasher. Big closets in halls and bedroom. I read reviews before moving here but there are only a few on Google for some reason. Maybe because google shows names? They have a lot of pics in the photo section of their website but none in the google reviews so i'll try to add one from the website.

Everything is good in relationship to Grand Terrace managers until you are no longer living there or until they no longer need you. At this point they turn into completely different people. Look elsewhere for a place to live. They say it is luxury but ALL of the apartments are not only OUTDATED, but the wood colors don't match and they look tacky.
