My husband and I are nearly done with our two year lease here at Creeks Crossing. The only reason we will be leaving, is to get a house of our own. In the beginning maintenance and office staff were not as helpful, seeming like they were almost non-existent but there has recently been a complete change in the personnel and they are now very, very helpful. Claudia in the office is knowledgeable and sweet. She goes out of her way to make sure the resident's questions are answered and concerns are addressed. The maintenance man, Gabe, came right away when I had something that needed to be checked out recently. He was helpful and knowledgeable. I personally feel it is the best townhome in Hilton to rent. We have not had many issues the entire time we have lived here. I would absolutely suggest it to anyone looking for a place to rent.

Office help was fantastic... Very friendly and knowledgable. Townhomes are lovely. We are very happy here. No need of maintenance. Nice landscaping and convenient. Would highly recommend...

I had a terrible experience trying to rent a unit here. the only reason to rent here is that there are no other viable options in hilton / hamlin. the only other options in the area are the village apartments or bradford manor. all the stuff is so old and has the feel of low income housing. i'll give you some background on the situation. i recently got married and had a daughter so my wife wanted to raise her near (her) family. so, after a long and difficult search, i was able to find a job up here. we moved up here from the washington dc area. i am an aerospace engineer and she is a kindergarten teacher. the first thing i had a small issue with was the time it takes them to approve someone. i have a rental property in dc and my management company returns an application in the same day. the company this place uses takes a week. that's preposterous to me. when submitting an application, they want 4 weeks of pay stubs (pretty standard) and landlord references. well i owned a home before moving up here so i didn't have a landlord. this is where they first problem came in. they wanted me to contact the apartments i had lived in 4-5 years prior to get references. that seems a bit silly to me. i had also come up in advance of my family so i was staying at my in-law's house. i had the 4 weeks of pay stubs no problem but the management company took exception to the fact that i had a "short income history." this was laughable, i've been in the military since 2001, i had worked in dc for 2.5 years before moving up and they said i didn't show enough income history to rent the unit. i carry an 800+ credit score. that alone would qualify me for nearly anything i want. not to mention my salary is well above the average family salary for the area. yet these people said they needed an extra months rent up front as "protection for them from default." is that not the purpose of a credit check? so they wanted me to shell out first month's rent (1285) + security deposit (1285) + pet deposit (500) + last month's rent (1285) just to move in. so after a long drawn out battle with the inept "jamie" at the management company, we came to terms, i was set to move in. at this point, i was 3 weeks past my anticipated move in date. 2 days before move in i got a call from claudia, the rental manager, telling me that there was a leak in the unit i wanted (which was built in 2010 and was never occupied). so they opened the wall to see what the damages were. well let me tell you, after 4 years of a water leak, there was extensive mold growth and the water had gone from the 2nd floor through to the basement. the fiberboard floor board was black and squishy, a sure sign that mold has gotten all the way through the wood and was degrading the glue. when i talked to the maintenance guy he told me they were going to let the wood dry out, wipe it with a moldicide and sealant and then re-drywall. i dunno how familiar you are with building codes but any commercial property with active mold growth has to have professional remediation. they blatantly ignored this law and decided to keep it all in house. The unit they tried to move me to also had extensive mold and water damage. It was also difficult dealing with the company to get my $250 application deposit back. so anyways, if you have any opportunity at all to go to any other place, do it. there are so few modern rentals in the area which is the only reason these people have business. the fact that there are still units built that have yet to be lived in is a testament to how horrible this place is.

I don't know how this company is in business..they are the worst!! No call backs! We started out by sending a money order.1st red flag.the man we spoke with was very nice but said he was soo busy!.They were only open 3 days a week. We put a application in 5/18 (Monday)..no call back..finally I call him on Friday.oh you will hear by Monday. This was still going on when we left to drive to Kansas. .While we were there the date was 6/10 a man named Gabriel answered? I said "Where is Rick? .He is no longer with us and we changed management. .wow..Red flag! He continued to give us the run around. .We didn't find out we were approved till 6/21..we had given them $250.00.we read awful reviews online plus they charge for everything. .they even want to interview your pet!!!..I called today to tell her we decided to stay where we are and save.Oh her name is Claudia who said she was waiting for a call from Jamie..ya right!! They are keeping our money..250.00 is a lot to have them keep after this crazy emotional merry go round we have been on!#Dont rent from them..they stole our money..they are theives..!

PLEASE READ REVIEW BEFORE LOOKING AT THIS PLACE! This only has 1 star because voting "0" stars isn't possible. I've only lived here for 1.5 years and we got a "brand new town home" Where to start .... Well when we moved in, the basement wasn't sealed and had a pile of lime dust in the corner. After we called they came and sealed it. Then, I went to open the floor vent in the master bedroom and got blasted with saw dust that was left in there. Also in the vent was plastic wrappers, some other garbage(napkins), and nails. The cabinets had dust piles in the back of them we had to clean out. There were holes in the laundry room doors from where "they messed up putting the knobs on". The wooden decks are already starting to warp. The tiles are already rising up. The outlet covers are all loose and cords don't stay plugged in. There are random nails that are starting to pop up in the floors that feel awesome when you step on the,m. The "plowing" that is included doesn't really exist. The street is only plowed once a day. The driveway currently has so much snow in it that my wife is parked at the end of it because she couldn't get up the the garage with all the snow. The water in the shower is luke warm on a good day. There was a big yellow stain on the tiles when we moved in. This place was totally built in the cheapest way possible with the cheapest labor they could find. I've actually had people who worked on them tell me how terribly built and constructed they are (my friend ran the piping for them, which actually works). The cable guy also asked to go in my basement and came up laughing saying "you got lucky, they didn't mess your wiring up like other ones in here". Maintenance never answers the phone when you call. Look at other places, only go here as a last resort. Don't be fooled by the nice model home they show you. They may look nice but they are a nightmare.
