I lived here for two and half years and LOVED it. My apartment was in the back and quiet. The landscaping is phenomenal. The staff I knew were nice and would respond within a timely manner to most everything. Most tenants either kept to themselves or were friendly. It had it's problems, like the dog park was full of dog crap, but the positives outweighed that. Everything was smooth and I never had to visit the office except to drop off the rent check. Alas, I would have given this five stars, if it wasn't for the new office employees during the last couple weeks of my stay. Almost everyone in the office is a new face. Mainly, I reported my air conditioner was out and here we are 6 hours later with two office visits and no air. I have a heart condition (tachy brady syndrome) and even after telling them that, their only response is "We will get to it before the end of the day. We will get to it when we get to it." in a condescending voice. They made several AUM accounting errors and tried to charge them back to me. They finally ate that cost. Basically, live here if you love being treated like a number, instead of a person. Except for the grounds crew, this place has changed a lot and left a awful stain on a rather stellar experience. I'm glad I am moving out. Hopefully they can get back to where they were.

From the day I moved in, the office and maintenance staff went above and beyond to make heritage estates not just a place to live, but helped make it my new home. Being a younger, single, female, it was hard to find a place during my apartment hunt that felt safe yet was close enough to enjoy downtown. Heritage Estates is/was a very safe environment for me, mostly filled with families and younger post grad-aged residents, and was only a 15 min drive from downtown! My apartment was perfect for me. It was a more rennovated apartment, with a washer and dryer, walk in closet, huge open kitchen with breakfast bar, and a great bathroom. I am very sad to be leaving, and would not be if my ride to work wasn't so long! Before I left however, I felt it was necessary to tell everyone how awesome this place is, and how geat the staff is. If you ever have any issues, they are there all the time and will go above and beyond to help.

Okay, If you do not care what so ever about privacy, or feeling comfortable in your own place, or even wanting to go for a walk, or swim at your own place….THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU! Stay far far away from here!!! First the maintenance men let themselves into your apartment, with ZERO warning. I did not place a work order or plan on any maintenance men coming by today but I was rudely awaken by someone beating the crap out of the furnace right outside my bedroom door. Then, the place is CRAWLING with people that STARE at your every move when you are outside, or driving, or just taking out the trash. You can hear all your neighbors (8 total) so GOODLUCK relaxing when your neighbor leaves and their dog BARKS its head off. There is nothing good to say about this place….. except for the reception ladies. They are nice. So if you still want a place here at least you'll be receiving a smile from the reception lady when you turn in your check. Oh that reminds me…even if you pay your check you might be receiving a call that they have "LOST" your check…although it was inside an envelope and personally handed to a person, the organization is so bad that my check was in the TRASH! Horrid, down right terrible, Unbelievable, and on top of this pile of stink, I wouldn't pay 100 a month to live here again. THANK GOD THE LEASE IS UP SOON!

The community is great, the landscaping is nice....BUT Heritage Estates Apartments has become a mecca for irresponsible dog owners! Leaving dogs off leash, not to mention the poop! YUCK! I had to throw Koko's new tennis ball away this afternoon because it rolled in some other dog's logs. The one dog park here has become the equivelent of a doggy litter box. It might seem tempting, but if your considering moving with your dog, look ELSEWHERE! Its not the same as when we moved here 4 years ago...
