best in town!!

The walls between units have very poor sound insulation. From inside, you can literally hear the conversations going on between people in neighboring apartments. There are also a lot of dogs on the property and barking at night was a constant problem. I dealt with the noise issue all the way through my lease. Then when my lease was up, they refused to return my security deposit. They cited carpet and stove top replacement as the reasons. When I moved out of the apartment, the carpet was in great condition with no stains or excessive wear. I never had an animal there or walked on the carpet with shoes on. The stove top only had the unavoidable markings that develop on the top of the burners of all glass cooktops with normal use. They never conducted a final walk through of the apartment with me, but later sent me a letter stating that they were keeping the deposit. There are definitely better options around at the same price point.

Overall this apartment complex is overpriced for what you get. The apartments themselves are nice but walls are very thin and neighbors can be noisy, so expect to hear everything going on around you. PARKING IS AWFUL! I usually could never get a parking spot next to where I actually lived I usually ended up three to four buildings away. Staff could be rude at times, didn't seem very concerned about their residents expect for a younger gentleman who worked there he was very friendly and eager to help with anything!

As a current resident, I'd say that Altis is an excellent choice for apartment living in the Lutz/Land O'Lakes area. Everything looks brand new, and the apartment complex's layout makes the community seem less expansive. The office staff is so friendly, and I often stop by just to chat and say hi! I've only had a few problems within my unit (garbage disposal clogged + thermostat needed resetting) but the maintenance team fixed everything the same day that I put in my work order. Extremely dog friendly with pet pickup stations located throughout the property. Definitely would recommend to anyone!

Very nice apartments with great amenities. The staff are very friendly and will work with you on any issues you may have - Nicole is excellent to work with on a variety of issues. We have moved from the apartments because construction was completed on our house but would highly recommend them and would live there again if the need arose. Great location, central to schools, shopping and major roadways.
