Lived here for a year and am getting ready to move out but not bc of anything amber place has or hasnt done. It was clean and quite during my stay without having any problems with any of the other tenants. When I first moved in my ice maker would not work and put in a request and it was fixed within a couple of days. While I didnt attend many, they did their part to reach out to their community via text about events they were hosting. Only downside was that there was a decent amount of house roaches and spiders but nothing overwhelming. and their increase for short term leases are pretty steep.

I went into the front office yesterday, to pick up a package that ups had left there. When I walk into the office, The maintenance and property manager were at the little bar blowing up balloons along with Chastity. Miss Whitney was at here desk, doing nothing! As I walk up to her desk, a white gentleman walked in behind me, As I didn't get a greeting from anyone and everyone of them had look at me when I walked thru the door. Whitney stands up and began to talk with the gentleman as if Im not standing there. She helps this gentleman with whatever he needed and he leaves. As Im standing there, Chastity gets up from what she was doing and help me get my package. As Im waiting, Whitney walks over to the bar were the managers are and glance at me and give the property manager a little smerck smile. I get my package and I leave. This situation was not the first I have encounter while they have been here, but I have tried to over look it. This was total disrespect. The only time they have been nice, has been the first couple of weeks they got here. I was very bothered by this and felt, I needed to let people know this is the kind of things that goes on after you signed that lease.

I have never lived somewhere so nasty! This place has a MAJOR roach problem. They do not do regular treatment, therefore, they will never get rid of them. They only do spot treatment 1 day a week. You have to stay on top of them to get pest control to come spray. They also have mold growing inside the sheetrock by every window. The windows are single pane with no insulation around them, so every morning they condensate really bad in the winter. This leads to black mold growing around. They think it's not a big deal and sprays it with bleach and paints over it. It looks good from the outside, however, now there is a major problem on the inside of the sheetrock that no one is aware of. My family has a constant cold/scratchy throat and I think its due to the mold. My children's doctor has highly recommended us to move due to this problem. Also, because of the single pane windows you can smell cigeratte smoke if someone is smoking above/below you on their porch. Once you put your notice in, watch out. The office staff is very rude and unprofessional. I called and spoke with the office manager regarding our roach problem after putting in our early termination notice and she said that we were suppose to be moved out the day before. I informed her it was not until the next month b/c we had to give them a 60 day notice. This date was on all of our paperwork. I'm not sure how they got it confused. We were going out of town that weekend; I would have been pissed to come home to all of our stuff on the curb b/c they got the date wrong. They are not organized and like I said very unprofessional!

Great at first but once they have your signature everything changes.

3 months here at Amber Place. Great place to live. Clean, quiet, extremely pet friendly. Excellent staff.
