Being that I move a lot for my career, I feel I need to inform people of one of my worst experiences with a management company and property. First off I want to say if you are looking for a place to call home, Amli Northpoint should definitely not be your first choice! Look elsewhere! All of the staff will say one thing then pretend like it was never said even if it is in writing where they will explain they didn't mean it in the nature it was written. There is one person there that was helpful and tried to do what she could for us called Trisha but Lisa who is the manager, well one of the biggest liars I have ever come across. They never follow guidelines of notifying tenants on the notice to enter, ALSO they never notified tenants when a car was stolen, when several cars were hit in the parking garage, when car were broken into, or any other dangerous occurrences, but you better believe they will swear up and down that they did. 2 of these incidences personally happened to me. Onto the apartment, they have granite countertops, false wood floors, stainless appliances, however looks can be deceiving. You can hear every movement of your neighbors like hard walking, sneezing, talking, the television, etc. You definitely have to rent a top unit otherwise you will go crazy. Lease terms, to say the least they are the worst in the industry. According to Georgia law management companies are not allowed to charge a lease termination fee yet somehow this company charges a "re-letting fee" equal to more than a months rent and alters from person to person we found out. ( we found this out by speaking to several other tenants that were unhappy) Along with this, I have never heard of a company charging a 60 day notice PLUS 2 months rents. So a total of 4 months to break your lease! All in all if you are looking for a place that always has their tenants in mind and looking for a great place to live, this is one of your worst options! AMLI Residential has some very poor standards for employees along with poor corporate governance that believes in deceit and extortion. I've lived all over the country, in almost every major city and have never in my life had this kind of experience.

I currently live here. I love it. I renewed my lease and I am hoping to move to a larger place, but if I cannot, then I may have to go to a town home. It will take me probably a year as I love this place so much that it is going to be very, very hard for me to leave. When researching, the amenities, safety and convenience, and also location, just cannot be beat. I have looked at comparable apartment complexes. With North Point not only do I get covered parking, it is gated and then the inside doors are gated. Maintenance is awesome and always fast. I am going to really miss this place whenever I decide I have to move. Yes, it is on the expensive side, but, again, when you look at all the things you have included (oh and LEED certified means great prices on water and power), the price somewhat evens out. So, it will be this complex or a town house I have decided (no other complexes do I want to go to even if better price). Trust me, I have looked at all complexes nearby and even the one that is pretty much exactly like AMLI, is more expensive and you receive less, and gain more traffic. I love the staff here too, just wonderful down to earth people. Yes,noise can be an issue (mostly for people underneath) but it is a give and take, and the staff does its best to be fair (example, if you are walking etc and it is "loud" they are not going to give you issues about it. If you are having loud music and being unruly, yes, they will say something- that is fair in my opinion). Half the time, neighbors do not know that they are disturbing someone because of sound transfer. Some neighbors are nice about and some are not, but that is not a reflection on AMLI. No establishment is perfect but the one thing that is noticeable is that AMLI staff listens and tries. There have been several occasions simple suggestions were said to them at an event or meeting in casual open discussion with the residents, and the next day ,the staff had made changes. What more can you ask for? They try their hardest to please their residents under the rules set before them by corporate. I think they do a great job. The other complexes with better prices, have hardwood on the bottom floors but not on the top floors, which I want non carpet and do not want to live on the bottom, so that does not work for me, personally. Our walls are fire walls not sound walls, this makes me feel better living in multi family place if something were to happen, also better on Renter's insurance; they like it. I don't know ,it will be a sad l leave for me as I enjoy probably 95% of the people here. My neighbors are awesome and treat me like a daughter, so it was worth moving to AMLI just to meet wonderful people. My pup loves it too and I hope to stay for quite awhile. I would recommend this place to everyone. Just tell the staff what you are looking for and what matters most to you and follow their lead. They knew I wanted a "quieter" place, certain price range (wanted a 1 bedroom), view, etc., and I have the best spot, hands down. If anything, I wish there were even more options in apartment choices at AMLI. I think they should build another building and then make a B500 with a sunroom and balcony; would be an awesome layout.

One of the best apartment complexes in Atlanta. Great views from the apartment and great service. The apartments feel very modern and spacious - lots of natural light. The club-room is fun and really useful if you host events. Only downside is that the floors are not thick enough and noise travels easily to the apartment downstairs - to the point that you will need to "tread lightly"
