Where do I start, first let me say my experience living at Beech Lake over the course of 15 months hasn't been all horrible. Also, let me say the current owners of the property are different then we I moved in and things have been better see the new owners have taken over. At Beech Lake the apartments are spacious but older. Depending on your neighbors it can be very loud. The current upstairs neighbors I have are just loud as can be and clearly don't walk there dog enough cause he is constantly scrambling. I'm normally not a complainer but this among other things is making me move out. You will have to watch out for pests, I have had pest control come 8 times in the 15 months I have lived at Beech Lake. Also, I have had to become more proactive with my own ways of pest control. Truly though that can be part of apartment living because you cant control the age of the apartments or cleanliness of your neighbors. Aside from the space the amenities are basic. The maintenance is good with minor things but not major things. Now on to the situation with the previous management. Initially upon moving to Beech Lake I was forced to wait two hours for the keys on an early morning for cleaning. A cleaning that should have been done awhile before. Then we we got to the apartment it was a disaster. Roaches on the wall, paint mismatched and blotted all over the wall. Dirty bathrooms and carpets. You get the point it was a mess, I could go on for days. In the end we got given a much more satisfactory unit. But not before dealing with the extremely disrespectful office staff at the time. The office manager at the time asked me "Well what do you want me to do?" I ended up taking 36 pictures and contacting the main management company in Texas and got the run around for a month. This was after the somewhat satisfactory move in to a newer unit. They gave us $100 gift card that is all. But as I said the management has changed and it seems much better now. But still issues... As for the new management I have ran into two problems. One, they switched companies who handle the water billing and didn't let any of the tenets know and its near the end of the month when it is due. Also, it seemed like the normal office staff had no clue about this change and had to ask the office manager. Then the biggest issue was a clogged fireplace that caused a smoked out apartment at 5AM in December. The fire had been out two and a half hours and still an hour after bed we woke up too smoke alarms ringing and a smoked out apartment. Thankfully we were able to air it out. But two months later no maintenance has come or called a sub contractor to fix this issue. It has been reported to the office multiple times. That's basically all I have to say... Take it how you want but I am moving for a reason no matter what gains have been made the last few months.

I moved there in mid-September 2015 and was assisted by a lovely lady named Desiree. She is amazing and was very helpful and accommodating. I love the place. It is very serene, and relaxing. Another plus is that it is pet and family friendly. I see many dog lovers walking their dogs through the beautiful park that we have on site. If you are looking for a great place to reside that is close to many things then this is the place to live! Check it out!

I actually don't understand why there are so many bad reviews? I have lived at beech lake for almost 6 months now and really haven't had many issues except for it being a little to chilly during the winter time. Still every time we have a service request or there has been an issue the maintenance people have been on it or the office has sent someone like they said they would. As for the heating issue it might also be the fact that we live on the very bottom but the guy literally check everything and jotted down how much the hot air was blowing out. If we do choose to renew next year I would def. move to the higher floors :) Other than that I have no complaints.

Staff were by far the worst I've ever encountered in any residential setting. Pricing is reasonable for the most part, maintenance is fast. Insulation is really bad and leads to 150+ electric bills in winter just to keep your apartment above the 60 line. Had pipe explode in the washer/dryer room during winter, took weeks to fix. Asked for my air conditioning system to be fixed more than 5 times, was never really addressed. Will be moving out soon because of thin walls and bad service.

Not the best, not the worst either. The management is very disorganized, but the apartments themselves are pretty nice, I'd say. You definitely get a good amount of space. I haven't had issues with repairs, so I can't speak for what everyone else has said. The biggest issues I have with the apartments are that there is no insulation in the walls and the mosquitoes. Your electric bill will 4x as high in the winter just to keep your place moderately comfortable.The mosquitoes are absolutely terrible in the summer. They say they spray regularly, but they need to triple the frequency because you can't go outside, day or night, without be bit.
