I've lived here almost a year and I normally don't have any issues. It took maintainence 2 Weeks to fix a nozzle on my shower that took him 5 min. The majority of the kids here are UNRULELY and very disrespectful. They run around UN attended, especially in the gym. I have told managemnt about it and it still continues. If it wasn't for the cheap rent I'd leave!

I looked at several apts when deciding to venture out on my own and Birdcage Village was the best in terms of price, comfort, cleanliness, and responsiveness of staff. I enjoyed living here-when I called maintenance to fix things they did so quickly and I always felt safe, no loud noise from neighbors. I recommend living in the green apartments side (side across from rental office ) think that's better and that's where I lived. I am sad to leave my apt, but have to save up and prep for graduate school.

We lived there for a grand total of 3 years. It was a safe neighborhood and had a lot going for it. But......when we had issues, we had to wait weeks to have items fixed. We had mold in one unit TWICE....and it took 3 weeks to fix the mold the first time and they had to move us the second time after we threatened to have the air tested at their expense. The mold was growing in our carpet and wall closet in our bedroom. Their "fix" was to paint over the mold in the closet. We did have one set of neighbors who had 6 people living in a one bedroom apartment. Management did nothing about that. And the 6 people would have parties all the time. Some of the problems were taken care of in a timely manner, but over all they wouldn't take care of it unless they saw you 3 times in a 2 week time period.
