I have leased with these particular apartments since April of 2010. I love, love, love the view from the balcony as well as the pool. The only cons are the office staff and maintenance, oh my God. It took 3-4 weeks to get a maintenance man in to replace the broken vertical blinds in our living room. Then, one of the drawers in our bathroom broke, it took another entire week to get it fixed. We have absolutely hated having to report anything broken because it just isn't worth taking time out of our busy day, when we know the staff won't do the same. The only positive thing I can say about them is that they once tried to connect with the residents by having hot dogs and burgers on the grill by the pool. Other than that, they really don't connect with you. Oh and I have to mention, if you are going to live here, you ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY, MUST purchase a reserved parking pass. People that live there feel the need to take up two spaces a lot of the time, forcing you to park at the end by the dumpsters. Either they take two spaces or they park on the line! So annoying! And guess what? The office staff won't do anything about it. Ok I also gotta mention, the access gate was nice while it worked but it has been broken since the end of November 2010 and we are now near the end of March 2011, almost 6 months! Another thing is the box where you put in the access code (when it does work) freezes constantly and causes LOOOONG lines of cars waiting. I would definitely shop the other apartments around the lake before settling for these. Best of luck!

I recently moved to Houston from NYC and relied heavily on these comments to make a decision on where I would move. Houston is a dangerous city, but we live in dangerous times. I would highly recommend one moving to this complex, as the people are of a working class and are very friendly. People actually look out for their neighbors. I am not recommending you let your guard down, where ever you live, but this is a clean, decent and highly recommendable community. Best of luck!
