I have lived here going on four years and I just love the place. The professional management ( Vail ) and her assistant , the maintenance team ( Rob and John ) all go the extra step to make sure things run smoothly and any issues are taken care of ASAP . If your looking for a great place to call home and NOT just rent an apartment ...here is where you want to be and call home. If I had to say something because nothing is perfect I wish people didn't move here who smoke as we are a smoke free community. They do have benches if you want to you can but then we have a few sneaky residents who smoke and you can smell it in the breeze ways. It just gives the office and maintenance extra work as they have a zero tolerance for this. I must say something about Rob the maintenance supervisor he is great I came home from work a month ago to find a leak it was bad as I had been gone for two days . It was about ten PM when I got home the rug was soaked the wall was wet . In a panic I called the apartment and the answering service told me they would get in touch with maintenance within ten minutes Rob was on the phone he told me he could come over and check it out it was late I told him I was leaving around eight the following morning and just come then. When I came home from work not only was the leak fixed the wall had been fixed and painted the carpet had been cleaned and a slip was left in the apartment . I thought darn maybe it was a bad dream ...it was perfect :) only to realize it wasn't a dream they just care that much to do it right the first time . ! Hats off to you Rob thanks job well done . This is one of the few communities that keep you informed on everything from freeze warnings to events. Thank you for making my home such a nice place to come home to. Present resident
I have been in this apartment complex for the past year. I have had some extremely intense personal issues that forced me from a one bedroom to a two bedroom back into a one bedroom. Vail and the other managerial staff members have been nothing but helpful throughout this whole process. Changing my lease and apartments has been fluid and simple. I needed my locks changed and emailed the manager about it late at night. The next morning by 10am all my locks, including the outside storage were changed and I had new keys. They are on top of everything, and work hard to make sure that their customers are treated right. In terms of the apartments, many have been newly renovated with new appliances. I work odd hours, and getting sleep during random times is crucial. Despite having dogs above me, and occasionally hearing them bark outside the apartment, I never hear a sound on the inside. The insulation is great, utility bills are cheap, and the maintenance staff is always around to help fix issues should they arise, but these are few and far between. Each unit also comes with a washer/dryer. The location couldn't be better. Amazing beer shop and pub within 3 minutes. Harris teeter, Southpoint mall, Chik fil A, shopping centers, I40, all within a few minutes drive. I could not recommend a better location in Durham to live, especially for the price. You don't get better service than what I've experienced here. As a long time renter in various locations across the Southeast, Vail and her associates are far and away the greatest group of people to rent from.
We've been here since last July (nearing 1 year) and love living here!!
Seems like this is a very quiet place, full of nature, and very nice! I would live here!
