First time I have ever been there The staff was awesome!!! I ordered the scallops, expecting them to be sauteed in butter with a nice sear... they came with a heavy batter & burnt. I didn't eat much.

We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and atmosphere at Jacks and the steak was so good!

Jack's is a Redding staple. While its not fancy and decked it has a great dark ambience that is all Jack's. The food has been the same for as long as they've been open, aged beef, salad with green beans, the scallions a great. Long wait but stiff drinks make it the perfect dinner spot!

Great food but pricy

My steak was burnt to a crisp took them forever to even get it out. Not a lot of options on the food and very expensive. The only thing I liked was the salad. The waitress was also rude. I wouldn't ever go back here.
