Want to feel safe in one of the safest cities in the United States? Then choose elsewhere. I placed a work-order to have my Washer Machine fixed, I came back a few hours later to find my door left unlocked and over $2000.00 in Personal Property now missing. A police Report with the Irvine PD was made, top suspect is the Maintenance Team though I never have accused them...only of leaving the door unlocked. Calypso Management refuses to take ANY accountability and has just directed me to their Legal Team who ALSO has taken NO accountability, even though it is their negligence which left my door unlocked. I trust the City of Irvine, I DO NOT TRUST the Team here at Calypso, now that I see NOTHING is being done to resolve the issue. YES - Renters Insurance claim was made. NO - Calypso not covering the deductible. They offered to waive my lease break fee, which is GREAT because I can't wait to leave... BUT this does not cover the valuable info included with what was stolen, the costs of moving when not intended, and the worst part of all of this is that it is completely being blown off as no big deal. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.
The noise from the cars on Jamboree road is enough to drive one crazy. Don't expect on ever getting back your deposits because they will find ways to keep it. The parking is horrible and I am just glad I am out of that place!
It is my friends apt but I liked this place …
Came by this place to visit a friend. Made my way into the parking area and was informed by parking staff that I should park in the "future resident" parking space if I was only going to be there for 10 minutes. I walk into what I thought was a lobby and ask if it's a lobby, and a rude annoying failing b****, "Amber", comes up and rudely says "No, this is the leasing office". So I tell them about my parking situation (how im parked in the 'future resident spot') and they say "oh you need to move your car or it'll get towed". I tell them the tow guy/parking staff told me it was ok and they say "Oh, he doesn't work for us" (what the hell, he had an Avalon shirt on). So I say "oh I'll remember not to tip him then", so she says "instead of tipping him you should ask him for money because you're going to need it when we tow your car", so I respond with "this place is going to need money, after I sue you" and leave. Everything from the tacky decor in the office to their raging bitter staff reeks of insecurity. You'd think they were running a brothel instead of an apartment complex. The Motel 6 of up-scale apartments.
