I waited two weeks for air condition after I had just move in. Then I still have cockroaches in my apartment, even though the bug man came. I didn't get rid of the cockroaches until January and I've move there in August. I had problems with paying with two different checks. The lady had miss input the total. I also sometimes have problems with trying to get receipts, after I paid my rent. The second floor leaks on to the first floor, so my bathroom now has a leaked. Maintenance people are overworked and forgetful. You have to remind them constantly about your apartment or they will close the request as done when its still broken. It is very hard to find parking for visitors. They have to park at the back in an unsafe and secluded area. Visitor's parking also fills up quick on the weekends to the point the only parking is left are residential which people had their cars towed because they could not find parking. The area isn't safe either, there are a lot of bums from State Street and Asher Street who like to follow the to the students both in the daytime and at night asking them for money on front of the apartments. Also too there is a guy who jumps the fence everyday at the same time who doesn't even much live here. When I first move here there was two garbage dumpsters on each end of the apartments. Currently there is only one garbage dumpster located by building three which it fills up quickly, so there is trash everywhere. There are no recycling bins to recycle. The people who work at the office are friendly, but after management has change they became unfriendly. Maintenance is lazy they don't want to fix anything. If your lights burn out you have to bring your own light bulbs then wait on maintenance to take a month to fix it or you can get on the ladder to change your own lights. April 27 when the bad tornado had hit. I went without power for almost two days. I call the office to ask when is the power being turn back on and was told to not call asking about power. They didn't even much try to get their residents power back on nor did they try to get residents refunds for the food they have to throw away from being spoiled. As of Friday May 1 my kitchen sink started to back up sewage and was told by the people the same day I have call they was going to fix it. Nope. I call Saturday May 2 and was told they will fix it by Monday or even at the end of the next week. I have told them numerous times that my kitchen sink has back up with sewage all over the floor. I have video footage to prove it. Nope they don't care. I call Sunday May 3 and was told they will fix my sink in two to three weeks. My apartment now smells bad and my floor and countertop has came apart. I was also told when I had call if I couldn't wait on maintenance to fix my sink that I could move and I was not going to be refunded the $679 rent I just paid, I was going to be charge additional, plus be charge for a broken lease and I still would have to find someone to sublease from me since my lease is up in July. I reported it to OSHA, BBB, and Apartment Association of Baton Rouge. I can't live in my apartment with sewage coming out of my kitchen sink. Everything is breaking down in my apartment and I'm fed up with maintenance being lazy and the people at the office being rude and disrespectful. They are ratchet and unprofessional college students who work at the front. The neighborhood isn't even much safe. People have gotten rob in front of the apartment complex. Visitor parking sucks they have to go through the gates to park way at the back which people cars have gotten broken into. Don't move here to Campus Crossings on Highland because your going to be miserable and regret it. These people don't care about their residents they only want your money to go to their paychecks. They live in the apartments as well and their apartments are free and looks nicer then the residents who pay their own rent to live there.

It's decent, nice and close like a 7-14 minute walk. The only problem I have is with the washer and drier. They need to get better ones.

Don't count on maintenance, the noise level here is insane, the units are horribly tacky...dried glue sealing things EVERYWHERE, paint drips all over everything, including my shower/tub, my door was almost black when I moved in due to DIRT...after cleaning it for an hour it is almost white. There are different ceiling fixtures in almost every room, floor tiles are cracking, I submitted maintenance issues when I moved in MONTHS ago that still have not been addressed. Today my oven stopped working while I was cooking dinner, and I have no idea when maintenance will be here to fix it. So now I have half-cooked lasagna rolls. My neighbors upstairs are insanely loud, and there are constantly people yelling and screaming across the court yards. Also, the pool was green 75% of the time during the summer. The only reason I gave this place any stars at all is because of very friendly staff (they are college students like the rest of us and very nice...) Save your money and rent elsewhere.

Great and friendly staff, quick response to maintenance help, clean pool, big bed and closet, and nice rooms! Constant noise if you live in the buildings close to the front

I do NOT recommend living here! I have many complaints about these apartments. They are entirely too expensive for the quality. There is different colored paint on the ceilings in our living room/kitchen from where they just painted over water damage that created holes. The tiles on my bathroom floor were very poorly laid and there is dried glue everywhere. Our oven has been broken since a few months after we moved in. The air in our apartment has broken about 4 times now, and each time the maintenance crew took at least a few days to reply/fix it. Now my room is about 10 degrees hotter than the rest of the apartment at all times. Secondly, I live in a three bedroom and unfortunately these rooms are not all the same size. I ended up in the smallest bedroom although I pay the same price as my roommates, which I do not think is fair. Also, we were guaranteed a Juliet balcony in our living room, however there is just a window there - no door. We are also placed right in front of the fire department, so I have been woken up more times than I can count by fire trucks in the middle of the night. As other reviewers have said, the ONLY good thing about this apartment is it's closeness to campus. I am able to walk most places that are in the area, but I would have given that up for a nicer apartment. I didn't search for apartments thoroughly enough and highly regret signing a lease and spending my last year in this overpriced placed. If you can avoid living here, you should.
