Both my wife and I are physically handicapped (she on crutches most of the time but lately, in a wheelchair), and me with a leg that was almost removed back in '85. City Center management has gone out of their way to deflect responsibility regarding snow removal from at least the handicapped parking spaces (I'd asked previously who was responsible for clearing the parking lot of snow, they all stated "Manassas Park government", I checked with Manassas Park maintenance today and found that once turned off of Manassas Drive, the roads belong to City Center. Their maintenance staff is first rate (especially Rodney), they have a cleaning crew that keeps all common areas clean and dust free, but the parking leaves much to be desired especially when there's snow. My wife wrote a letter to the Management Company that I will copy and paste here: To Whom It May Concern, My husband and I have lived at City Center since June 2013. For the most part it has been a pleasure. But there is one BIG problem. After this past big snow there has been a big problem with there still being snow and then ice around the handicapped spaces. We are the ones who requested more handicapped parking spaces be added (there were originally only TWO in front of this building and only TWO in front of the other building), we appreciate that happened. I walk on crutches and sometimes use a wheelchair now. I know that there is at least one more resident in a wheelchair and several others who use canes etc. Rodney is great but he can't do everything. We were told last winter and again this winter that Manassas Park was in charge of taking care of snow removal at City Center. My husband went by Manassas Park Gov. Center and found out that was not true. That City Center is responsible for snow removal. He then went by the office to discuss the issue with them and was told that the contractor couldn't make it till Thurs. I am not saying that I expect all of the snow to be removed from all parking spaces and parking lots but at least the handicapped spaces should be accessible for handicapped people to get in and out of their cars without falling. As stated previously, I'm on crutches I can't walk on ice and when I'm in the wheelchair my husband has a very hard time getting me over snow and ice piles which we have had to deal with all week. I am even more concerned because if my husband takes a job as an Over the Road Trucker, he won't always be around to bring me down and pick me up in the wheelchair. He is a truck driver and is up for a job where he will be gone all week so I will be alone and won't have his assistance to get to and from my car. I was assuming that they hadn't cleared the handicapped spots because cars were parked there all day so they couldn't. Not the case. There have been several days this week where a snowplow could have easily come in and swiped the handicapped spot and put salt down and we would have been good to go. I'm sure the assumption is that when the weather is bad handicapped people should just stay home. We can't. I have a job that I need to go to so I am able to pay rent. If I can't go to work then I could get fired and then have no money to pay rent. I'm sure that would be a big issue. The snow piles are so bad around the handicapped spots and others that my car (a Chevy Aveo) can't even get into most of them without ripping the bottom of my car out. I also realize that we should be getting to the end of snow season but these issues need to be resolved for future winters also. Again, we really enjoy living at City Center but this is proving to be a big issue that could be easily resolved. Please let me know how you plan to address this issue ASAP. Sincerely, Sandy Story

If you like paying over $100 for water every month then this place is for you...Otherwise BEWARE! You will be charged a $50 service fee EVERY month for water on top of your usage. Our bill ranged from $120-$160 per month, only 2 people, for WATER!! I would not recommed this apartment complex to anybody for that reason. Positives, it is a relatively new building and the maintenance staff was always available and quick to fix issues.

Parking scam: The clearly marked visitor sites, mention nothing about permits. I visited a resident for two hours the other evening and was towed. The extremely rude manager, "Jameesha" invited me to get an attorney if I wanted the $160 back for towing costs. Avoid this vulgar scam of a business.
