Nice building. Leasing office seems to be very professional and will follow up in regards to work orders or issues in a timely fashion. Over the summer my AC unit broke, and they replaced my unit fairly quick and also gave me a portable AC to us in the interim. There is cleaning staff in the building that keep the lobby area and CL floor clean for the most part, but like most buildings you have the occasional neighbor with no home training that will litter in the elevator. My only issue with the building is that I wish the parking fee was cheaper. Like the Pavilions it is $50 additional but here its an extra $100!!! I also wish I could have a dog or a cat, guess i'll just have to stick with my fish for the time being. I love my view of NYC, it's super dope on 4th of July and every morning I see the most beautiful sunrise.

Kettler management has engaged in a pattern of behavior that includes deception, harassment of tenants and possibly outright fraud in regard to State and local Rent Control laws. What ever might be good historically about the building and location is completely overshadowed by the poor behavior of the management company Rent is relatively low. 24 hour door man. Designed by Mise van Deroe. 8.5 ft ceilings and almost floor to ceiling windows give you a view of the NYC skyline. Living in Newark is not for amateurs. A commitment to city living is required. Walk to train, restaurants, NJ PAC and a high quality art museum. Olmstead designed park across the st. to the west. NJIT, Rutgers and UMDNJ are all within five blocks.

To be honest, this place is not all bad, but I have to rate it a one star for one main reason: I only have lived here for a month and my car was stolen. The sad part is all of that all of the cameras that they have, they don't have any near where my car was parked. I think that it is outrageous to park inside the parking lot, when a woman's tires were stolen twice; yet the residents have to pay $100/mth. It is extremely hot in this apartment and they are very lazy in their updating. I have seen two floors that have been updated. They only allow certain people with pets which is unfair; they constantly have thugs hanging around; and the hallways smell. Do I advise you to live here? No, I don't. And especially if you are not physically and mentally prepared for Newark choose somewhere else like Bergenfield or Hackensack because although they might be higher, atleast you're safe. Note: Know the area before you sign the lease and always be aware of your surroundings. Do some comparisons in prices and weigh out all of your options with this place, because unfortunately, I didn't and you see where I am.

Horrible place. All floors are not the same. From about the 14th floor down, the floors are not updated. The carpets need replacing and they smell. Although, the poor conditions are creeping up to the higher floors. Someone continues to pee on the carpet on the 18th floor and management does nothing (not even clean it up). Plus, the Air conditioning units never get fixed and they are not large enough to cool down the apartments. Water pressure stinks (so don't try to take a shower) and the hot water is non existent. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!

I see nothing has changed since the early 90's as the management is still a problem.
