I own a unit here and for the most part I always see the maintenance team working hard to keep place nice and clean. Pools are clean 95% of time. People who complain on here are the ones who need to realize it is up to us as the owners and tenants to pick up their own dogs feces with the bags supplied in the dog park and to keep the place clean. People here tend to complain about what they are not doing and blame the employee's for not picking up after their messes. I feel like I live in a safe, clean and upgraded Condo. I never see any pest and the grass is keep up nicely.

There are a lot of bad reviews, because to be honest for a long time this was not a good place to live. It was better than some, but the management changed constantly, maintenance did not do what they were suppose too, trash was always over flowing, the pools were not clean, there were other serious issues like rats, the gym equipment was broken and the weights were stolen. However, we do have new management, Venterra Realty, and since they have taken over things have gotten so much better. They are polite and do not speak down to us or treat us badly. The maintenance men are amazing, polite, work hard, and actually let you know they are there instead of tapping then coming in. Within 2 weeks of this new company taking over my apartment is fixed after waiting for 2 years. The pools are clean. The trash isn't in the driveway from overflowing. They actually spray for pests and don't just charge us to say they will. They are replacing the gym equipment. This is the first time in the few years I've been here that I've actually been happy with everything.

The apartments at the Fairways at South Shore deserve a 5-star rating, but it is the onsite staff that brings my review down to a 1 Star. I lived in these apartments for 2 years and I would have stayed much longer if it weren't for Monica. Monica works in the front office. She is rude, unproffessional, and will continue to drive business away. I expressed these feelings to the new management (BH Management) before I left. Hopefully they will make a change in staff and make Fairways a 5-star complex.

Definitely improving

I moved to The Fairways October of 2013 and I really like it here the new management is doing a really good job compared to the previous. They are doing alot of renovations and improvements. I def suggest this as a community to move to.
