When I read the review on the web about the cars being broken into I didn't know whether to believe it or not. Then again I was coming from the East Coast and from a city where you could leave your car unlocked and nobody would even care. Less than 2 months in, my vehicle was broken into and some items were stolen from it. To make a very long story short, the close access to I-205 is not really an advantage, and you will often see cop cars situated around the shopping complex nearby or even in the apt complex itself. I wish i paid better attention to other reviewers comments and moved to some place safer like Livermore, Dublin, Pleasanton, anywhere but in the central valley where Modesto, Fresno, and Stockton rank in the Top 5 in car thefts almost every year in a row. The staff are nice and the maintenance guy is very friendly. It's just the location and the people in and around the city that are somewhat a problem.
