Where do I start? "Free Heat" all the heat you'll ever want and more. They don't turn the heat off until May 1st, so when it's unseasonably warm (60 degrees or higher) it's 80 degrees or higher in your apartment. I spent weeks with the inside of my apartment being 90 + degrees; sweating sitting still. Parking not so bad during the weekdays, but at night or during the weekend you might have to walk from pretty far away. Your allowed one parking space in front of your building, but that's not given to you or assigned (you basically have to be lucky or never leave your apartment). If you have a neighbor that smokes and that smell overtakes your apartment they'll do nothing about it. This apartment complex cares more about it's "looks" than it's tenants.

This apartment is expensive but cheaply made and maintained. They spend more money on maintaining the landscaping then maintaining the inside of the apartments. When I moved in I noticed that old stains under the carpet started to come up because they didn't replace the carpets they just cleaned them from the previous tenant. I lived in an upstairs apartment and was tortured in the summer by a weak central air system. I called numerous times, they would send the maintenance man, he would make all these promises then never returned. The electricity always goes out and one morning I woke up with no hot water for no reason. The experience at these apartments is not worth the rental experience. I wouldn't recommend anyone I know or love to stay here.

I lived here 12 months and left only because I had to relocate for work. Otherwise, I would have stayed. I love Heather Ridge. I lived in a 2-bedroom second floor unit which I found spacious. My unit in particular had generous amounts of natural light and my neighbors were lovely. The neighborhood in general has ample parking and is family (playground) and pet (small dog park area) friendly. There is a pool, tennis court and (small) gym -- none of which I used, however (I work a lot). The grounds were always well maintained during all seasons, the neighborhood quiet, and the area in general safe. I loved the office staff as well (they are part of the reason I chose this property versus another I was on the fence about). I had a couple of minor maintenance issues during my year there (an issue with the dish washer and another with plumbing) but they were very promptly addressed. Another user review mentioned the roofs needing repair. The roof for my building was replaced entirely because there were issues with leaks in some of the units. Another user review also mentioned a bat infestation? I never saw any bats during my year there. My only complaint is that the AC unit has a difficult time cooling the (2nd floor) unit during hot summer days. Heat and water included in your rent. I definitely recommend this property.

I've been here for 2 months now and love it. The kitchen is beautiful. The staff is awesome and super friendly and cute and sweet. I like how the apartments look from the outside. Plenty of parking. Our balcony is nice. The neighborhood seems very very safe. Our neighbor has lived here many years and only locks his bottom lock. Heat and water included, super awesome because I take long showers, apologies to the environment. Only criticism is there is a lack of space in the entryway for the second floor apartments. The door swings up to the steps so it's a bit annoying to put shoes, and soon boots, down. Plenty of space to put a coat hook up though. But whatever you just move them as you go, it's nothing to cry over. 9.5/10.
