I am actually disappointed in myself. I have had the unforchent luck of dealing with all the negative stuff in the previous ratings that I read before I signed my lease. When I signed the lease I figured it wasn't as bad as people were say. I WAS WRONG! Our basement is full of mold and management doesn't care. DO NOT MOVE HERE!

I have lived at several different apartments. I have had leasing companies and individual landlords. I can tell you that living at Hunters Ridge gives you the best of both worlds. You get to enjoy all the amenities of having a large complex and leasing company (Pool, weight room, on site maintenance, etc..) yet you're not just a number. They treat you like a human being with respect and go out of there way to be as helpful as possible. This is my favorite place that I have ever lived! I'm fully confident that you will love it!

These apartments are crap. When I first moved in back in Oct 2012, the carpets were new and we were told appliances were updated and in working condition. Within a week after moving in everything started breaking down. -Hot Water Heater -Faucets on bathroom AND kitchen sinks -Fridge was warm -Dryer takes two to three 60 min cycles to dry a medium to large load -Dishwasher was dark yellow and stopped working, also was held together by random screws used to keep it from leaking -Asked to have bedroom AC replace because is was very old, rusted, and generally in terrible shape all around -There was about a 2 inch wide gap in my wall where the new wall unit AC was installed causing a very noticeable breeze in my bedroom -Our balcony was coming apart -Our oven does not work As well as other small things like doors not closing all the way because the door knob was installed incorrectly and the closet doors shutting halfway, which we fixed on our own after a month of waiting for those simple repairs. The balcony, gap in wall from the AC, both faucets, and fridge have all been fixed. The dishwasher was an attempted fix but was installed incorrectly and does not completely shut and has the side insulation coming out of it. THE REST HAVE NOT BEEN FIXED!! My roommate has been down to the office twice a week to talk to the people in the office. Some of these issues have been going on since October. The last issue that came up was the oven not working and that was over a month ago!! This place could give a damn about their tenants after your lease is signed. They were very quick to fix the AC and balcony when we said they had to be fixed before we moved in, but all of a sudden now that the lease is signed they've become "too busy with emergencies" to help out. I'm completely understanding when something comes up and the work in our apartment needs to be postponed, but waiting over a month so I can cook in my own apartment is ridiculous. And the staff not following up with us when something gets postponed or ignoring my calls to tell me why fixing my oven is such a low priority is just outright unprofessional. I advise EVERYBODY to stay away from these apartments and tell your family and friends it's a bad idea. It's not like I can say "well at least we don't pay a lot" because we pay roughly the same amount as everybody else in the area. Also, this is not an isolated incident. Our neighbor works in maintenance for the building and said they will try any and everything to save money even if it goes against his and his colleagues recommendations. We had to have our sink fixed 3 times in our kitchen before they got it right because they wanted to use old parts that our maintenance man knew wouldn't work. He told us "this probably won't work but they won't let me order you a new sink until the third time." We also had the door in our fridge fixed 3 times before we got a different fridge all together. Their answer in fixing the door of the fridge was to keep using super glue (all three times) and since the super glue looked awful, they would wait until the glue dried and put duct tape over the glue and paint the duct tape white. This problem is clearly not with maintenance not doing what they're suppose to, but a deliberate choice of management to penny pinch. Like I said STAY AWAY...you'll thank me later.
