My boyfriend and I have been staying here for the last couple of months, and we LOVE it! The gym is a major plus, and so is the swimming pool and cute little dog park. When we started looking for apartments this was the only place we found that had everything we needed (large master bedroom, washer and dryer included, spare bedroom with bathroom attached, and a dog park). We toured Ivy Park and moved in two days later. The people in the front office are super nice and extremely helpful.This was our first time living away from home, so we had many questions and they answered them clearly and informed us as best they could. When something broke or needed replacing the maintenance team came by the next day and took care of everything!! It is a nice living area, very quiet and pet friendly. We absolutely love it here. It is number one on my recommendation list.

Ivy Park is a newer apartment complex, yes, but it is not "luxury". Luxury homes have stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and hardwood floors. Ivy Park has none of these. The price is reasonable for what you will get but DO NOT get an apartment with bedroom windows that face parking areas. People are quite loud at all times of night: music is blared and often intoxicated residents are not concerned with shouting at the top of their lungs in the middle of the night on weekends and weeknights. Also, I was told I was getting a free month as a move-in-special and then, after moving in, was told not to complain about construction noises- that is why I had gotten my "construction discount"!!!! Would not have moved in if I had been told I would wake up to jackhammer-like noises...

I have read all the reviews about how bad it is to live here. Keep in mind that most of the reviews are from 2007-2008, when the community was new. From my experience, the community is very nice. The management is NOT rude; on the contrary, they have been extremely helpful since I moved in. The apartments are nice; granted, you don't get granite or stainless, but you will pay a LOT more for an apartment with those things. Trust me, I looked. This place is really nice. Huge garden tubs, nice lighting fixtures, very spacious. I have a few maintenance complaints but most have been handled quickly. The pools and gym are also nice and kept up well. I have noticed cigarette butts around the pool in the past but it has gotten better. They seem genuinely interested in keeping the place nice here. The bigger buildings seem to be more noisy, but I live in one of the smaller buildings and it is very quiet here. Nice neighbors, very friendly! I love it here. I think the price is very reasonable for a place with 9 ft ceilings and crown moulding, very big bathrooms and closets, free wifi by the pool, nice appliances, and a big kitchen with tile countertops. I say come by and take a look for yourself! You'll be pleasantly surprised.
