The apartments are descent , but the neighbors are disrespectful .The police came 3 time ... we had 8 police cars ,and 20 officers at one night . The management are ok , but they have to be more strict with the community or it will be " welcome in Detroit down town " ... I wish they will apply to the ppl explanation and tell them that they do not live alone ... no loud music work week after 11 .... now is 2:30 am ..on Friday morning and I cant sleep because of a neighbor ... what should I do ?

Obviously, different people have varying experiences at any apartment complex, but we are very happy with our entire experience at King's Arms Apartments. We were looking for a safe place for our adult daughter to live who has some special needs, so she could be comfortable in a semi-independent lifestyle. As she is a vulnerable individual, it was important to have the understanding and support of a good apartment community and safe neighborhood. We have found the staff at King's Arms Apartments to be caring, attentive and helpful -- in ways large and small -- since she moved into her apartment about 8 months ago. She's in a quiet building with other tenants who have turned out to be "good neighbors"....other thoughtful adults .... no complaints with noise or behaviors...and her apartment is very clean, cute, has built-ins in the dining room and plenty of storage, and she has a view of the river, grass, trees and nature out all the windows. When there was a problem with a concrete step at the porch being of convenient height, maintenance was sent over within a couple of days to re-pour a new concrete step and they also rebuilt a new handrail...We feel that we were fortunate to find this apartment complex and our daughter is happy and comfortable in her neighborhood. She often goes to say hello to the office staff and they always greet her kindly and know her by name. She's called maintenance several times for minor issues and they come and repair or replace whatever she's having problems with - each time in 24 hours. There are sidewalks to stroll around on here and the Walgreen's at the corner of the closest intersection is in walking distance as well. Since our daughter does not drive, this is a great perk! The area surrounding the King's Arms Apartments feels almost rural, there are wetlands behind one side and mature trees are all around, since the apartments have been here for many years. Some buildings have river and green rolling lawn views. The interior walls seem more solid than the previous apartment at another, newer complex she lived in prior, so it's pretty quiet. I recommend this complex to others who want to feel safe and "at home". The office staff are the best!

The apartments are decent for their price, but the neighbors are horrible and loud. The cops have come to our building several times since we've lived here. The management responds quickly to any maintenance issues, but since the problem still hasn't been fixed after they've come out three separate times, it's not really helpful.
