You get a large unit for the money and the renovated apartments with the upgraded appliances are nicer. However, beware of the staff/management. The utility bills are sent 2-3 months late and you may have a large balance at the end of your stay (even after safety deposit). Also they will charge you for carpet cleaning and maybe other fees even though you may have left the apartment in the same state as when you moved in. Make sure you get a receipt for rent, utilities, or end balance payments. They sent my

I have lived here for over a year and have very few complaints with the apartments. The rent is reasonable. The size of the 2 br apartments in phase 1 are adequate. The staff is courteous and helpful. The only issue I have is with regard to the way the utilities are billed. They are a bulk billing that are evenly divided amongst the residents of a building with like size apartments. This is an issue with me because of selfish, self-centered tenants that like to keep their doors to their patio wide open during the dead of winter, which by the way apparently this was the worst winter here in years, just so their dog has free rein of the patio. One can only assume they have their heat jacked up high to keep the interior of the apartment warm...BS if you ask me!!! This directly results in a higher utility bill for EVERYONE ELSE!!!!

We lived at the commons for 1 yr and it was the most unpleasant experience we had ever been through. They fail to tell you that the complex has a terrible bed bug infestation. The first night we stayed there we were bit non stop at first we thought it was fleas but we learned fast enough that it was bed buds from previous renters. However its just messed up they would move us into a apartment they knew had that kind of a problem. When we confronted the office staff they insured us they would take care of the problem. Two weeks later they finally sent someone out to attempt to fix the situation but they failed miserably. All they did was agitate the bed bugs making them more active at night and in turn they bit more then ever as we slept. We should of sued them because they didn't ever fix the problem we had to order things ourselves to kill the bed bugs and when our lease was up we moved out. The office staff is horrible the only ting they care about is taking ur money and getting you outta the office because they have no interest if they are at fault and need to fix something.
