After what started out as a pleasant experience I became rapidly dissatisfied after there was a murder here (17, Feb 2015). As a former business owner I understand that bad things happen and that the owners are in no way responsible for the occurrences, however management has a responsibility to notify the tenants of the murder. I found out about it on the news, and as of yet there has been no notification by the owners. Additionally 4 month ago the rent drop box was sealed so if you do not pay by the close of business you get hit with late fees. (Great way to increase revenue from a business perspective)

I've been living at The Lodge since November and so far so good. The application process was easy and I did everything but pick up the application and sign the lease online. It was easy. The girls that work there are always eager to help and have made it easy to get issues resolved quickly. The onsite workout facility is very nice and kept clean. The lounge area is cool and you can actually rent a movie theater at this place too. All and all it has been very pleasant. It is a tad bit pricey, but it is well worth it. I shopped for apartments in the Lakeline Blvd area and The Lodge definitely has the most bang for your buck when you look at sqft vs. rent price. My and my girl are VERY happy here.

So recently we went to put in an application there and got HORRIBLE service. Within the first ten minutes we were told we do not make enough to live within the complex and got our applications handed back to us (while she smacked on her gum answered her cell phone TWICE plus texts, I kid you not), which then I had to point out she had misread my income. All she replied with was "Oh," and then quickly took the application from my grip. Then from there it was just down hill. After viewing the model she gave us this great pitch about the complex and sent us on our way reminding us to bring back more information the next day. When we came back the next day, the MANAGER, felt the need to remind us of every single fee that we were were about to pay, and gave me this look with a pat on my back (literately) and asked if we were sure we could afford this. I pulled my application right then. Seeming as how I had come from a much nicer apartment down the street paying well over $300 more a month than the lease I was to sign at the lodge. Over all they were rude, and condescending. We overhead another group signing the lease the day we were in and they did told them the same thing "you don't make enough" and they also reminded the lady she misread their application. Never want to go in here again. Took me a day and a half to turn around and go someplace else. Now once again I'm in a much bigger apartment paying $200 over what my lease was to be at the Lodge and had no approval problems. Don't get it, but at least I don't have to deal with gum chewing "think I'm better than you" people in the office.
