I love it here! I moved here 6 weeks ago & so far I absolutely love it here. The first week I moved in there were a few issues that maintenance had to take care of and they fixed them the very next day, they also sent a survey which is good they value your opinion. as far as the other reviews I've read, I haven't noticed anything negative here. The front office staff is very polite, the maintenance man are kind and professional and all the other tenants i've met are all nice & happy here. It's fairly quiet, and the grounds are landscape and well maintained. the apartments I moved from had a rat problem & their solution was to bring in a bunch of feral cats saying 'All apts have feral cats' NOPE, NOT HERE! Just some geese & ducks around the lake. As far as my actual apartment, I LOVE IT! Vaulted ceiling in the living room and master bedroom makes it feel more spacious, they will paint your walls to help you feel more like home, the bathtubs are way bigger than my last place & the fixtures are more up to date. The layout makes the apartment feel bigger and more spacious, it's an open floor plan that just all flows together, I truly love it here and I can see myself living here for many years to come 😊😊😊 These apartments are very comfortable and quiet, I would definitely recommend my family and friends to live here 😊👍👍

This will be the most honest review of an apartment complex, so if you are considering staying here please read this carefully. I gave this apartment 1 star for the various reasons listed below. This apartment complex has stunning views on its website and floor plans that are ideal for anyone apartment hunting. When you actually get into the apartments or try to see your apartment they have plenty of excuses as to why you cannot see it before hand as we were only able to see it the day of. Inside of each apartment from ceilings to the floor everything is very dated. stoves, flooring, cabinets EVERYTHING. There was water coming in under the paint above our balcony door and there is a strange dip in the floor, whether it is the floor molding or just unsecured it is has been there since we've moved in and it is ridiculous. one of the only reasons this place doesnt get just one star from me is that when our AC broke and there was no air in our home in the dead of summer the did come in and put a window unit in. so that was nice. That being said our AC broke about 3 times before they replaced it. and then afer they replaced it there were continuing issues with it. They say your rent has to be paid by the third of the month but they will but a late payment notice on your door if it isnt paid by the 2nd. you cannot pay them early because they dont have things written up for you to do so. They will tow your car if they think its inoperable. when you ask them about it they will say they will claim the city comes and tickets cars even though the car is on private property and JSO cannot tow from private property. it is something have set up with wreckers to come by and take peoples cars even though they want their rent. how are you supposed to go to work to get them their overpriced rent if they take your car then are magically absolved of anything. Overall it is mostly quiet. you hear sirens due to being close to fire station. there were a couple of shootings within the last few months so that is also an issue. I personally do not know but from other residents I understand that The lake smells and always has garbage in it (I don't face the lake so i cannot say first hand) Although they do have a bug problem of which they try to fix with a bug guy that comes around every month and they charge you for that too. They are also trying to raise the rent. Yeah right like i'll be staying here... You'll be better off going to one of the places next door. They will whoo and tell you everything is great here but it isnt. I always seem to see uhaul trucks in this apartment complex, there are people always moving out of this place which can never been a good sign. Like all the other renters/reviews I am counting down the days until i can move out of this overpriced dump.

By far the worst place I've been in... there was a shooting right in front of my bedroom window and along with other residents our cars got shot at (multiple times), when I went to the office the next morning to talk to the manager about it first she didn't want to talk about it and tried to shoo me off by telling me very loudly that the shooting "did not occur in the apt complex, people think it did but it wasn't in here", just "rumors"... I immediately told her it absolutely happened there as It happened right in front of my bedroom window and my car had bullet holes to prove it... this is when she quieted me down and immediately took me into her office and shut the door so no one could hear... the staff was quick to tell me that it was "my responsibility" to take care of my property and they didn't care that my job is based on using my car to make money... I left the place because I had a fear for my safety, (I couldn't even sleep) and got a whopping $3,000 bill for leaving before my lease was up... in addition to this little "unimportant" story, this place is infested with cockroaches, fleas, spiders, you name it there is poop all over the sidewalks and grass when you sign your lease the staff tells you you'd be paying a $30/$40 additional to the rent for water and sewer fees tops, the first bill is just like they said but all other bills are $100 more than what you signed up for!!!! when I signed the lease they told me one of the walls was going to be painted a color of my choosing, but when I got my keys on the move-in date, not only was the place not ready for me to move in, it was disgusting! so dirty, what looked like dog hair all over the place inside and out, counters, sinks everything dirty... the staff are all idiots, they don't even know where the apts are... I could go on.... let's leave it there, I am glad I no longer live in this awful place where you are not cared for, I pay the same amount of $$$ in a gated community by the town center if you are willing to spend this much money for a place like this, check out southside area and town center area, yes expensive but you will end up paying the same amount of $$$s for a safer, nicer and much cleaner place...

Less than a 1 star place. When I moved in, there were so many things wrong with the apartment I was given. There was even a hole on the door to my room (someone must have punched it, and Madison did not change the door until 2 months into my lease). The neighbors were very nosy, looking in through the window of my 2nd story apartment anytime the blinds were open. The management is horrible with power hungry people. My roommate and I broke the lease, were told we didn't owe any money when we moved.....3 months later we get hit with a bill for the month AFTER we moved. Now we are in the middle of fighting this bill. Do NOT move here if you can find another place.
