So far, so good. I just moved in last month. I have been very pleased with every aspect of this complex so far. If anything changes, I will post an update. All of the ladies in the office, that I have spoken with, are very nice and are professional. The only thing I'd like to see would be a larger washer/dryer in the one bedroom units and for the property to be gated, however there seems to be no need for fencing. Otherwise, this place is nice. I've only been at my apt for a few weeks now, but it seems pretty quiet. I'll update in a month or so, even if there are no changes.

Frankly, Lupe the General Manager should be fired. She's an ice princess reflecting poorly not only on the Maroa Park Apartments itself, but on the industry as a whole. I've found that the leader of any organization always sets the tone. And the tone at Maroa Park is "get the money" and minimize any service to tenants. Frankly, they can be bothered by it. We seem to be a nuisance to them. I believe until Lupe is released from her position as General Manager at Maroa, the culture will remain unchanged. She is essentially the cancer that needs to be obliterated from the situation. She's more of a liability than an asset. Honestly, I felt so mistreated and unappreciated living there. Very harsh management style. Complete indifference. And the whole tenor of their communication is "you're going to pay for it". They make it clear that you will be billed for almost anything that can go wrong onsite. It would seem they're attempting to avoid ANY cost of doing business by billing the tenants for EVERY little thing. It's a form of thievery. They're plenty nice when they want you deposit and are attempting to sell you on moving in, but once you get there, you're pretty much on your own. Lots of attitude. Lupe DOES NOT return phone calls, unless it's to her benefit. Her entire focus is on the side of the corporation and not on the side of tenants -- at all -- EVER. It's as if she lays awake nights thinking of ways to alienate or run tenants off. Also, be aware to the fact that they have no intention of returning any of your security deposit. It's part of their fiscal success plan. Their standard practice is passing ALL, and I do mean ALL, expenses of maintaining their property onto the consumer. However, they do receive an A+ for creativity ways of coming up with ways in avoiding the-cost-of-doing-business. They are typically corporate in their approach and with all communication. Essentially, cold, indifferent and hardhearted about all aspects of management. Not even feeble attempts at expressing things in a nice, or professional or even a neutral way. Do yourself a favor and skip any notion of living here. It's not the property itself, but the management that makes this property a HUGE "no vote" on any sane person's scale. After seeing the vast array of negative comments concerning Maroa Park on several different websites, I must say that I feel vindicated that so many others had similar experiences from living there. Consider yourself WARNED: Keep looking, you'll find almost anyone that will treat you more professionally and with a smidgen of compassion and friendliness. I could not in good faith recommend Maroa Park Apartments to anyone....EVEN my enemies! By the way, don't be surprised if "Anonymous" responds to this post. Anonymous seems to love Maroa Park, and refutes most negative posts I've found on the web. Good luck!

There is a child molester that lives in these units, even tho the courts did not have enough evidence to prosecute him he was ordered and restrained to stay away from my kids. Unit 160, I will re-post if they ever move so the next tenants are not affected by my post.
