Great friendly staff. Quality matched to affordability. Pool was not overly packed and was actually enjoyable. Apartments were quiet. Location was by everything you need with easy access to highway for commute. Better gym maintenance would have made experience better.

Worst experience ever! We showed up on moving day with all my daughters belongings in the uhaul truck excited to be moving into her first apartment. Problems started right away when she was told that her roommate had to be there to sign the lease with her. And that was not possible as she was in another state and moving in the next day. They were never told to make sure that they came together, remember this is their first place, so why would they just know that? After 2 hours and countless phone calls made from the woman working in the office to her manager and regional manager, they agreed that they would email a copy of the lease to her roommate and she could sign it and fax it back. After that my daughter paid her security deposit and rent then finally given the keys to her new place. Only to our shock find out when she opened the door that it was different from what she was supposed to be renting. Because it was occupied at the time she went to look at apartments they had to show her another one and informed her that the one she would be renting would be a mirror image of that. Well it wasn't! It was missing 2 big closets, had smaller bathroom and kitchen size was different. There was no way she was moving in to that apartment. She pretty much had been scammed!! She was in tears when she returned to the office to tell her that's not what she was told the apartment would look like. They offered her another apartment at almost $200 more than what she was supposed to pay. Seriously, they had no compassion towards the situation. Remember she had people with her that were helping move, a truck full of all her belongings, had been there for hours, and to top it off it was pouring rain outside! They did nothing to try to fix the problem! They just didn't care! She got most of her $$ back but will have to wait for up to 30 days for a few hundred of it. Not to mention the money she lost paying for the truck rental. Terrible place!

Bear in mind, this is my first experience renting in MA ( originally from NH and spent the previous year in CT), but I find our accommodations to be reasonable for the money. So reasonable, that I just renewed our lease. I have no complaints about the facilities; a lot of time and effort is put in to landscaping, etc. The pool is small but nice on occasion ( can get crowded after work, but that is to be expected).I use the fitness center regularly ( again, busy after work) and the tennis courts nearby (public access, at the boys and girls club on Concord Rd). The location can't be beat for the Boston commute. I often bypass route 3 on the way home and take 4/225 ( grocery shopping and banking) or middlesex turnpike. I live on the third floor and thus have minimal noise complaints. I have never once heard my neighbors in adjacent apartments. Occasionally the hallway noise is slightly bothersome, but, most tenants are respectful ( and exceptionally nice, actually). The maintenance team here is phenomenal. The 24 hour guarantee ensures quick responsiveness. Heck, even on a Saturday afternoon when I had a faucet break ( wouldn't turn off), maintenance was on top of it within the hour. The front desk staff is pretty decent. I did, however, have issues with the woman who handled my lease when I first moved here. She was rather difficult and exceptionally forgetful. The move-in experience would have been a complete disaster if it weren't for the other tenants, who were nice enough to volunteer their help with the move-in. Really, the people here have made my experience so exceptional.

Apartment complex supposed to be under new Avalon management but has done nothing to come up to standards of their other complexes. Was put in a terrible situation of an incomplete apartment on the move-in date and no solution except for convincing to stay at this apartment and a day stay in the model apartment till it was resolved. Besides a lot of road construction is happening near the location and glad that I did not sign a lease. Also this complex requires you to purchase renters insurance which you will not be made aware until you get approved for an apartment.
