On 14 Feb, 2014, I helped a co-worker to acquire a one bedroom in Misty Ridge Apartments. We were not allowed to preview the unit he would be assigned. Inspection on move in day revealed an apartment, and grounds, with poor maintenance issues, no pre-rental make-ready or cleaning, and longstanding safety issues. No effort at inspection, cleaning, or repairs were attempted prior to leasing the unit. On 22 Feb, 2014 I wrote to their corporate office on my co-worker's behalf.

Lived there from dec 2007-mar2008 carpet was dirty. smelled like cigarettes, took weeks to get the odor out. Place had not been cleaned, so i had to clean the place before I felt safe to use the facilities. lots of noise at night. and neighbor was loud at times..
Although we are no longer in "Pool season" and the pool has been closed to residents I'm inclined to request management to draw up seasonal leases for the new pool tenants...Mr.& Mrs Frog and the ever so friendly Mr. Turtle De Slime. Congradulations to the New Owners for allowing management to lower the Bar of the "Standard of Excellence" for those of us who enjoy fishing, and letting the pool become a pond. What say we stock the pond with Bass and throw a cold weather tournament come New Years Day?
