So disappointed .... Disappointed at the fact that there are roaches everywhere and they won't go away, no matter how much I spray and try to get rid of them. The kitchen is so small and everything is broken, dishwasher will not work and has never worked since I've been here. Cabinets and drawers are old and some broken. I call for a problem and they just will not come, no matter how urgent it is.AC has never worked, thank God is not hot outside anymore, I used to sweat like crazy here. They never called me back nor came to fix the AC, they told me there was just too many apartments with no AC and I had to wait for my turn, that was 4 months ago, I'm still waiting. The carpet in the rooms has always smelled horrible, it never got better no matter if I shampoo the carpet, my toilet in the master bedroom does not flush completely, I have to flush over 5 times so it works properly. There is a leakage coming from the bathroom roof, I called them several times, they don't care. 2 more months and I'm out of here. What a shame..
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! Worst property to live in! Starting with the staff being rude & unknowledgable on simple issues. They have to go to the manager for help & even then the manager doesn't even deal with you, even if you request to speak to her directly. Maintance always takes their sweet time to come look at any issue, they come into your apartment without notifying anyone. I've had 5 leaks, A/C not working & my light cut off several times in the past year of living here. 24/7 emergency maintaince is a lie, they don't respond to your calls. My apartment has been flooded several times & all they do is replace the foam in the carpet, the carpets stink due to the humidity from the leaks. I'm sure theres mold as an effect from the leaks. However, they still deny to replace it. There are water stains all over my apartment ceiling & bedroom walls. Bathrooms aren't that great either, the tubs are just painted over, the paint begins to peel off over time. Corporate is no help at all, they don't answer phones calls nor call you back even if you leave several messages. Worst experience I have ever had. I would never come back nor recommend this property.
Monterra Park is a good property except for the Management and how they deal with property issues. I would not recommend leasing at this property. The staff is not knowledgeable nor able to work as a team to assist in making it easier to adjust to changes and or issues that come up. I moved in and still do not have acceptable working Air, I was told that my unit would be a 2br 2bath with washer and dryer connections I ended up with a 2br 1bath no connections. Now its my fault bc I shouldn't have signed the lease without everything completed. I contacted this complex a month ago to prepare for my move I work during the hours of there operation was stuck having to move here bc of last min costs. No consideration whats so ever/ they just want your money...

Monterra Park has to be in the running for the worst apartments in Houston. I have lived in 4 different properties in the eight years I have lived in Houston and I never experienced such a horrific property. From having to go without air conditioning for half of the summer to being hospitalized twice from the mold in the air ducts. NOTHING will ever get fixed and the property is infested with roaches and termites. I have tried working with everyone from the multiple property managers to the corporate office and no matter who you speak with they will not or will take forever to address your issues. The only reason I gave this property1 star is because it wouldn't allow me to give it 0.
