First time renting, and no real complaints. Excellent location, great living space, nice appliances, friendly people, and decent price. I highly recommend the townhouses; my wife and I have lived here for nearly a year and we're big fans. Candy (the land-lady) is easy to work with and a lot of fun. If you're looking for a resort, look elsewhere, but if you're looking for a homey place to live, near everything, look no further!
The area is nice, you are close to New Circle, Man of War, and campus... BUT I have lived here for the past year with my wife and we have encountered several terrible features. -Three of our interior doors do not fit the doorway so they cannot be completely closed -We didn't have a dryer vent the first two months we lived here so the increased humidity rusted several of my tools -After using the restroom, the pipes are so old that you have to flush the toilet at least twice EVERY TIME, which has led to a high water bill... AND the tenants below us keep having sewage backing up into their tubs. - The "vents" in the bathroom have a fan and, the maintenance guy told us, a charcoal block. The charcoal is supposed to absorb humidity, but there is no difference in the room if the fan is on or off during or after a shower. Candy is a sweetheart to work with, but really check out what you are getting into. The previous post from Shelly talks about townhouses. We just live in a two bedroom so I cannot give a grade to the townhouses.
