As a travel agent: The Gansevoort at Park Avenue is an awesome boutique hotel. When you enter the lobby look up at the bright pink chandeliers, it's totally elegant and smart looking. The staff is helpful & will make your stay outstanding. Head up to the rooftop & catch the views. It's breathtaking ! Enjoy the quiet pool area which takes you into an oasis of plants. Great drinks to enjoy a wonderful evening.

My husband and I checked in for 1 night as a "stay-cation". Although we live in Manhattan, we were excited to stay here, relax and enjoy the hotels amenities. I have to say, the experiance we had with the front desk staff at both check in and check out was not great. Unfortunately, we found the "attitude" extremely rude and off putting. All other staff we encountered during our stay were lovely and the massage I had at the spa with Serena was exceptional. All in all this is a really nice hotel it's just a shame that your first encounter, and your last impression of it is with a front desk staff who is so incredibly unwelcoming. I would hesitate to stay here again, or recommend it solely because of that.

My favorite midtown rooftop! You are transformed into a rustic warm feeling right when you walk in! Amazing cocktails and gourmet food. Incredible views of the Manhattan Skyline and great outdoor rooftop with cool pool. This year-round rooftop is a must for a night on the town, after work drinks with colleagues, birthday party or any other special occasion! Highly recommend to everyone and can't wait to go back!

The front desk are totally unhelpful to the extreme. Rude staff and slow service with none of the extras you would expect for the price

This place is one of the worst bars that I've ever been to. They only had three vodkas,Tito's and two other obscure brands. No Grey Goose, Belvedere or even Ketel One. They also make the weakest drinks in the city. They put a gigantic ice cube into the glass and pour one small shot in the glass with lots of mixer. My wife and I had 3 drinks,paid $50 and didn't catch a buzz. The Ganesvoort roof bar in Meatpacking gives great drinks and a better atmosphere.
